The successful candidate will deliver exceptional performance in support of customer/end-user's mission through flawless program management. They will effectively collaborate, motivate, and lead relevant stakeholders to successfully deliver early, under budget, and with exceptional technical performance.

Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships, astutely balancing and rebalancing shifting customer priorities, providing hands-on management of all aspects of the program, and driving the accurate and timely tracking and reporting of budget, resource, and project management standard metrics.

The Program Manager will also complete critical path analyses, identify potential bottlenecks or delays in programs, and drive efforts to ensure projects stay on schedule. They will partner with leadership to guide prioritization of projects and utilization of resources, establish and lead a consistent cadence of well-organized, well-facilitated, and effective meetings, and support an environment where accountability and program execution excellence are core.

The successful candidate will report directly to Shield AI's Director of DCS Programs.

Required qualifications include aerospace and defense program management experience with either Department of Defense or Direct Commercial Sale programs, deep expertise in project and program management, willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed, ability to focus on long-term business objectives, and experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, familiarity with aviation product delivery, training, maintenance, sustainment, and field support, undergraduate degree in engineering or business, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Salary: $110,000 - $165,000 a year.
