      <Title>ADAS Calibration and Validation Engineer</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a motivated engineer with a background in Automotive Engineering to join our exciting ADAS &amp; AD team. Our engineers work with cutting-edge technology and support the development of next-generation ADAS and Automated Driving systems from concept level to production sign-off on behalf of OEMs.</p>
<p>The role will primarily be based in our Midlands office with some travel to customers&#39; locations and other worldwide AVL locations.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work with other team members and customers&#39; engineers to deliver ADAS &amp; AD projects according to plan</li>
<li>Develop test plans and test cases for ADAS features, ensuring appropriate requirements coverage and traceability back to use cases</li>
<li>Plan, conduct, and evaluate vehicle and systems tests in virtual environments, on test tracks, and public roads</li>
<li>Develop calibration for ADAS features and functions</li>
<li>Identify and develop use cases for ADAS</li>
<li>Develop, define, and refine requirements for ADAS features (from feature level down to component level) as well as performance KPIs</li>
<li>Report and present project activities</li>
<li>Work with customers to understand and track project milestones and deliverables dates</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical &amp; Electronic Engineering or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience with vehicle integration, tests planning, vehicle and systems testing in virtual environments, on test tracks, and public roads</li>
<li>Experience with ADAS features calibration, vehicle testing, data collection, and post-processing</li>
<li>Awareness of systems development lifecycle</li>
<li>Understanding of vehicle control modules, E/E architecture, and vehicle systems</li>
<li>Good communication skills in written and verbal English</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>High motivation and proactive attitude towards learning and new technologies</li>
<li>Flexibility to travel to suppliers, customers, other AVL offices</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>ADAS/AD systems engineering experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of ADAS regulations and standards (UN-ECE and ISO)</li>
<li>Knowledge of C++, Python, and/or ROS</li>
<li>Knowledge of simulation and validation tools (e.g. CarMaker)</li>
<li>Experience using Vector tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANape) or equivalent</li>
