Cyclingnews, the world centre of cycling, is seeking a Staff Writer to join our UK editorial team. Reporting to the Deputy Editor, you'll drive core output of racing news and reports, supporting exponential growth in news coverage around cycling.
\nYour responsibilities will include covering the latest racing, industry & tech news, writing race reports and producing live race updates, and writing feature interviews and in-depth stories. You'll attend races and events in person to capture exclusive news and content.
\nTo succeed in this role, you'll have a passion for professional cycling and racing, with strong sub-editing skills and an existing understanding of SEO best practices. You'll also be able to use analytics platforms to measure and inform content strategies and work effectively as part of a wider team across multiple time zones.
\nIn return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £26,500 - £29,000, plus uncapped leave, a share of profits with a bonus, and well-being support with access to our Colleague Assistant Programmes.
