180b7acf-140 Associate Director, Young Adult Programs and Services We are seeking an Associate Director, Young Adult Programs and Services to lead key elements of NYPL's Teens 360° initiative, including specialized teen internships, college and career readiness, teen volunteerism, post-secondary skill-building, and the promotion of teen voice through publishing teen-created content.

The Associate Director will supervise, create and grow teen initiatives in the Young Adult department, including College and Career Pathways, Teen Ambassador Programs, and Teen Voice & Leadership. They will work collaboratively with internal partners, engage in strategic planning, and communicate regularly with internal and external partners.

This role requires a Master's Degree in Library Sciences, Education or related field, and 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling educational programs in a library or related setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Associate Director will direct supervision of 3 Managers and indirect supervision of 5 Associate Managers, and be responsible for hiring, performance management, and coaching.

Benefits include a hybrid schedule, 35 hours per week, and a salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per year.
