<p>Required Experience Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to desktop and endpoint management in a large, complex organisation. Experience transitioning or modernising endpoint environments, including movement from legacy desktop management to modern MDM-based platforms. Hands-on experience managing Windows and macOS endpoints at scale. Hands-on experience managing Email and productivity systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc. Experience providing people leadership, including coaching, mentoring, and guiding teams through change. <p>Required Skills Strong leadership experience with modern endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune/Entra ID and Jamf. Experience managing Windows and macOS endpoints at scale. Solid understanding of endpoint security fundamentals, including device compliance, identity integration, and security baselines. Experience with automation and scripting to streamline desktop and endpoint operations. Familiarity with legacy desktop management tools (e.g., SCCM) and experience planning or executing migrations away from them. Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint, identity, and device management domains. Experience with vendor evaluation and management, including RFPs and service relationships. Ability to define and track operational metrics (KPIs, SLAs) for endpoint services. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.</p>

<p>As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for owning the engineering-level administration of NYPL&#39;s network, including routing, firewalls, ACLs, VLAN designs, VPN and public and staff WiFi networks. <p>Some expectations for this role are that within one month, you will be familiar with IT practices and teams, roles &amp; responsibilities, build initial relationships with key vendors and services providers, build initial relationships with internal stakeholders, understand NYPL&#39;s network topology (WAN, LAN, WiFi), be familiar with current project backlog, coordinate with team leadership to prioritize work, and have clear expectations and goals moving forward.</p>

<p>Responsibilities: Regularly answers letters from incarcerated patrons in support of the Reference by Mail service Liaise with volunteers and students also answering letters, to support the workflow of the service Work closely with the Supervising Librarian to find ways to streamline and improve the service overall Assists with the creation and distribution of materials to staff answering Ref-by-Mail letters, such as guidelines, rules, ready responses, etc. Occasionally assists with the preparation and delivery of JPS programs and projects including the Connections reentry guidebook Attends relevant NYPL staff development activities and training Performs other related duties as expected</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities: Required Education &amp; Certifications: Bachelor’s degree required</p>
<p>Required Experience: One or more years of experience in an office and/or library setting required One or more years of experience working with underserved populations required</p>
<p>Required Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills required Digital literacy and strong working knowledge of Google Drive (docs, sheets, etc.) required</p>
