What you'll do at Nansen

You'll build the intelligence layer that powers that mission. That means working with 500M+ labeled blockchain addresses, training models on data no one else has, and shipping AI/ML systems that help real investors make better decisions and grow their portfolios.

• Design and build AI/ML models on top of the richest onchain dataset in the world , then make them fast, scalable, and production-ready
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and product to ship models that actually reach users
• Stay ahead of the curve in both AI/ML and blockchain , this space moves fast, and we need someone who moves faster
• Level up the team: mentor junior engineers, raise the bar on what good looks like
• Own your work end-to-end; from data pipeline to deployed feature

What we're looking for

• You've shipped AI/ML at production scale , you have the scars and the portfolio to prove it
• Deep fluency in frameworks around Python, Generative AI and agents
• Deep expertise in LLMs, agent architectures, prompt engineering, and context engineering , across OpenAI, Anthropic, and beyond
• You can work the full data stack: feature engineering, pipelines, model serving. Data engineering experience is a genuine edge
• You don't just use AI as a tool. You think with it. AI-first isn't a checkbox, it's how you work

Responsibilities

You own trading revenue. Not 'influence' it. Not 'partner on' it. Own it.

Trading User Growth

• Build and execute acquisition strategies for crypto-native traders.
• Drive trading volume and fee revenue.
• Find and fix activation blockers with product and engineering. If users sign up and don't trade, that's your problem to solve.
• Design incentive and referral mechanics that convert

Affiliate & Distribution

• Run the trading-focused affiliate program end-to-end: find the right creators, activate them, cut the ones who don't perform.
• Scale content and creator partnerships that drive real top-of-funnel.
• Run structured growth experiments: A/B tests, cohort analysis, channel tests. Shut down what isn't working before it becomes a habit.

Team Leadership

• Lead a team of Growth Leads driving trading revenues. You set the bar, you hold people to it.
• Set direction and frameworks , then get out of the way and let the team execute.
• Hire as we scale. You'll build this function, not just manage it.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in growth, GTM, or affiliate management with revenue outcomes you can point to.
• 2+ years managing affiliates or KOLs in crypto. You know who actually moves volume and who's just noise.
• You've built and led a team. You set direction, hire well, and hold people accountable.
• Deep crypto native. You understand how traders think, where they hang out, and what makes them switch platforms. If you don't trade yourself, this isn't the role.
• You work at both altitudes: GTM strategy and market positioning one day, pipeline reviews and campaign tweaks the next. This is a build-and-run role, not a strategy deck role.
• Bonus: hands-on experience with onchain analytics tools (Nansen, Dune, Arkham) or time at a crypto exchange.

What You'll Do At Nansen

This isn't a marketing role. It's an expedition role. You'll be in the field , producing, posting, experimenting, learning in public. You'll have AI, autonomy, and a product with genuine signal. If you want to manage campaigns in Salesforce and write quarterly social calendars, wrong ship.

Responsibilities

Be the scale engine

• Own the content engine across X, LinkedIn, and wherever culture lives this quarter , threads, explainers, and product moments

• Turn onchain data, Smart Money signals, and product updates into content people actually share

• Connect content performance to what matters , you track the journey from impression to signup, not just impressions

• Work with KOL partners and creators to extend reach on campaign and launches

• Experiment and track performance rigorously - double down on what converts, kill what doesn't

Be the branding engine

• Own the brand voice day-to-day - you are the voice, act like it

• Write copy sharp enough for the crypto-native, accessible enough for the curious newcomer

• Work with product and data teams to surface what's interesting and make it digestible

• Support product launches with reactive, timely content that reinforces the right narrative - not just announces a feature

• Be present in the wider AI/onchain community - human, helpful, real

What We're Looking For

Non-negotiables

• 2–5 years in social, content, or digital marketing , ideally crypto, fintech, AI or tech

• You write well. Fast. With a voice. (Show us.)

• Crypto-curious at minimum, onchain-literate preferred

• Fluent in the internet , you know what's landing on X, what's dead, what'll be big next week

• Strong visual instincts and a ship-it mentality; done beats perfect

What you'll do at Nansen

You'll be the person who makes sure we can move fast without breaking things that matter. That means embedding security into everything we build , cloud infrastructure, applications, CI/CD pipelines, AI systems, staking operations , across a generalist role that spans the full surface area.

• Run security assessments across systems, architectures, and code , find the vulnerabilities before someone else does
• Advise engineering teams on secure design decisions. You're a partner, not a blocker
• Deploy and maintain security infrastructure: SIEM, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, logging , the things that let us sleep at night
• Secure our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows end-to-end
• Own secrets management, key management, and access controls. No shortcuts
• Address LLM security head-on: API key management, prompt injection prevention, and the risks that come with shipping AI-powered products at speed
• Coordinate penetration tests and security audits with external vendors
• Create and maintain secure coding guidelines and code review processes that engineers actually follow
• Represent the Security Team in the incident response process
• Drive compliance readiness , SOC 2, ISO 27001 , pragmatically, not bureaucratically

What we're looking for

• You've built and hardened production security at scale , you know the difference between a policy document and an actually secure system
• Strong cloud security knowledge (AWS, GCP or equivalent). Container security and network security fundamentals
• Hands-on experience implementing security tooling, not just evaluating it
• Secrets and key management expertise , you've managed this at a company where it actually mattered
• You understand the security implications of AI/LLM and agent-based systems. This is new territory and we need someone thinking about it seriously
• CI/CD pipeline security is second nature
• Pragmatic about compliance , you can get us to SOC 2 without drowning the engineering team in process
• You don't just use AI as a tool. You think with it. AI-first isn't a checkbox , it's how you work
• Strong async communication skills , we're remote-first, Slack-and-docs-heavy, and EMEA hours are preferred for team overlap
• Bonus: blockchain, smart contract, or staking infrastructure security experience. Kubernetes and Terraform security. Incident response or security operations background
