Senior AI Automation Engineer

Later is the world’s most intelligent influencer marketing company, built to give brands the confidence to create unforgettable campaigns. By combining real creator relationships, trusted intelligence, and expert guidance, Later removes fear and guesswork from one of marketing’s most visible investments.

We're hiring an AI Automation Engineer to embed across teams at Later, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and beyond, and replace manual, repetitive work with durable AI-powered tooling. This role sits at the intersection of engineer, internal consultant, and coach: you'll build the automations that move the needle today and level up non-technical colleagues to build the next wave themselves.

Partnership & Discovery

Embed with non-technical stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and other functions to understand their workflows in depth.

Surface the highest-impact automation opportunities and translate fuzzy, ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions.

Leave every stakeholder conversation with a sharper problem definition than you walked in with.

Building & Shipping

Build automations and internal tools using AI-native platforms, scripting, APIs, and whatever else gets the job done, pragmatism over purity.

Ship working v1s quickly so stakeholders can validate value before investment scales.

Wire together LLMs, agents, RAG patterns, and prompt design with existing systems to deliver real workflow outcomes.

Scaling & Reliability

Take working prototypes and harden them with the reliability, observability, error handling, and reusability needed for production use.

Define when a one-off solution is good enough as-is versus when it needs to be promoted into something the whole org can rely on.

Build the monitoring and documentation that lets automations run unattended and recover gracefully when they don't.

Enablement & Coaching

Coach and advise non-technical colleagues who are building their own automations: review their work, unblock them, and level up their skills over time.

Run lightweight enablement (working sessions, office hours, shared documentation) that grows the citizen-developer community at Later.

Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to non-technical audiences and teach others to fish.

Platform Thinking

Identify patterns across teams and build shared components, templates, and frameworks that compound the org's automation leverage over time.

Create reusable building blocks (prompt libraries, integration patterns, automation templates) that turn individual wins into org-wide capability.

Partner with Engineering and IT on the platform decisions that make this leverage durable.

What success looks like:

Within your first 6-12 months, success in this role will look like:

A portfolio of automations in production with documented business impact (hours saved, error rates reduced, cycle times shortened) across at least three different teams.

A measurable lift in the number of non-technical colleagues confidently building their own automations, supported by templates, documentation, and coaching you've put in place.

A reusable library of components, patterns, and templates that other builders, technical and non-technical, can pick up and apply.

Recognition as the go-to partner across Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success for 'can this be automated?' and 'is this worth automating?' questions.

A clear point of view on Later's automation roadmap: what the next high-leverage opportunities are, and where the platform investments need to land.

What you bring:

A track record of building and shipping automations, internal tools, or AI-powered workflows that delivered measurable business impact.

Strong fluency with modern AI tooling (LLMs, agents, RAG, prompt design) and comfort wiring together APIs, scripts, and no-code/low-code platforms.

A business-first mindset: you start with the problem and the user, not the technology, and can sharpen a non-technical partner's problem definition through the right questions.

Resourcefulness and a bias to action: you ship a working v1 in days, not months, and iterate from there.

An instinct for scale, knowing when something is good enough as a one-off versus when it needs to be built to serve the whole org.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical audiences and coach others to build their own solutions.

Experience in an internal-tools, RevOps, BizOps, or 'applied AI' function is a plus.

A background in supporting or training non-technical builders (citizen developers, ops teams running their own tooling) is a bonus.

Comfort with data: pulling it, cleaning it, and reasoning about it.

VP, User Experience

Later is seeking a Vice President, User Experience to lead design across its product portfolio, spanning Later Influence, Later Social, and Mavely. The successful candidate will build and lead a team of 5-6 UX designers, partnering closely with product managers and an engineering organization of 100+ developers to ship experiences that are cohesive, intuitive, and scalable across its lines of business.

Responsibilities:

Embed directly as a hands-on, principal contributor on Later's most critical zero-to-one product bets, operating at the intersection of design, product strategy, and engineering execution.

Drive rapid, high-fidelity experimentation by turning abstract business requirements into functional prototypes, bypassing traditional wireframing phases to validate ideas immediately in the browser.

Act as the ultimate safeguard for user experience on flagship launches, jumping in with the team to unblock strategic initiatives through direct co-creation.

Translate business strategy and customer insight into a design roadmap that supports growth, stickiness, and commercial outcomes.

Identify and resolve structural gaps in the product experience that individual teams, working in isolation, would not catch.

AI & Agentic Mastery:

Pioneer and execute agentic UX workflows, building functional AI prototypes that unify product design across Later Social, Later Influence, and Mavely.

Architect and codify the UI/UX patterns for human-in-the-loop interactions, AI trust mechanisms, and agentic failure states by actively building and testing prompts and context windows alongside engineering partners.

Integrate generative AI and computational design practices into the daily workflows of the product organization, setting the standard for how AI accelerates UX exploration and research synthesis.

Leadership and Mentorship:

Lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing team of UX designers by shifting the culture from traditional screen-design to an AI-native, builder-first mindset.

Upskill the design team in applied prompt engineering, computational design thinking, and the use of AI tools.

Replace standard administrative critique rituals with active build sessions, setting a relentless quality bar where the team is expected to rapidly turn ideas into near-working experiences rather than static mocks.

Recruit and develop design talent, building a bench that matches Later's growth trajectory.

Foster a culture of craft, curiosity, and ownership, ensuring the team is motivated and set up to do their best work.

Cross-functional Partnership:

Partner closely with the CPO and CTO to align design investment with company priorities, and co-create the product and technology strategy, vision, and roadmap.

Accelerate delivery across the 100+ developer organization by implementing robust design tokens and AI-assisted design-to-code pipelines, removing the friction between design intent and shipped reality.

Partner deeply with the roughly 10 product managers to compress discovery cycles, using AI-driven usability analysis and rapid prototyping to materially shorten the path from customer problem to tested solution.

Co-author front-end architecture strategies with engineering leadership, ensuring UX standards are scalable, API-aware, and built on shared logic rather than fragmented static screens.

Represent design in company-wide planning and prioritization conversations, ensuring UX is a first-class input to roadmap decisions.

Craft and Quality:

Set and hold the bar for design craft across the portfolio, from interaction design to visual polish.

Champion accessibility and usability best practices across every product surface.

Balance speed and quality, knowing when to push for polish and when to ship and iterate.

Research and Insights:

Build a lightweight, repeatable approach to user research that keeps design decisions grounded in real customer and creator behavior.

Translate research and usage data into design priorities that connect to measurable product and business outcomes.

Make AI-assisted exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, usability analysis, and design-to-development workflows part of the team's operating model, materially shortening the path from customer problem to tested solution before significant engineering investment.

Model and drive a proactive, learning approach with internal stakeholders and customer and user personas, creating a culture of curiosity where the team becomes deeply familiar with customer and stakeholder workflows, pain points, and needs.

What success looks like:

Within the first 30 days, you've met the design team, key PM and engineering partners, and have a clear read on where the product experience is strong and where it's fragmented.

Within 90 days, you've established a design operating rhythm (critique, planning, quality bar) and identified the first systems-level fix that will meaningfully improve consistency across product lines.

Within 6 months, a shared design system is in active use across teams, design is embedded early in product discovery, and AI-assisted prototyping and experimentation are materially accelerating the path from idea to validated experience.

Within 12 months, the UX team operates with clear ownership, predictable delivery, and measurable improvement in usability and consistency across Later's full product portfolio, and you're recognized as a trusted design voice at the leadership table.

VP, Growth Marketing

We're looking for a VP of Growth Marketing to own the marketing to revenue generation engine. This is a player-coach role: you'll lead a team of 12+ product marketers, marketing channel experts, and growth marketers, owning product marketing for both our brand and creator audiences and, on the growth side, paid media, SEO/AEO, email and in-app lifecycle, CRO and web, and ABM.

You'll also carry work yourself, building the model, writing the brief, reading the attribution, and stepping directly into a channel when it needs a senior operator. You'll own the growth marketing budget and be accountable for driving measurable action across the full customer journey, acquisition, retention, expansion, and reactivation, and for pipeline, signups, and revenue across all three lines of business (Later Influence, Later Social, and Creator/Affiliate).

Key responsibilities:

Own Later's growth marketing strategy end to end, connecting product marketing, demand generation, and lifecycle into one plan tied to pipeline and revenue targets.

Own and allocate the growth marketing budget across channels, defending investment decisions with clear efficiency, payback math, and investment increase recommendations.

Work with your Growth Marketing Managers to establish and refine the goals, KPIs, and reporting frameworks the function is measured on, and make the tradeoffs visible to senior leadership and executive teams.

Refine and build net new differentiated growth motions for each line of business.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of roughly a dozen marketers across three groups: product marketing, digital marketing channel experts, and growth marketers.

Direct paid media strategy across paid social, paid search, video, and display, holding the team accountable to efficiency targets.

VP, Creator Growth (SLG)

Later is investing heavily in how we grow our creator network, and the creator acquisition engine is one of the most important levers we have.

We are looking for a VP of Creator Growth (SLG) to own our sales-led growth motion for affiliate creator acquisition end to end.

This is a senior, high-visibility role that will report directly to the GM of Creator and work in close partnership with Sales, Product, and the Later Influence team to build and scale the programs, playbooks, and campaigns that bring the right creators into the Mavely ecosystem.

Strategy & Ownership

Own the creator SLG strategy end to end, defining the acquisition model, segmentation, and deal economics that drive VIP and macro creator growth across Later Influence and Mavely

Operate as a player-coach: join your team members on key VIP outbound and meetings, provide real-time coaching and strategy, and model the motion firsthand

Set the annual and quarterly GTM plan for creator SLG acquisition, including team quota, deal-mix targets, and ramp expectations against company revenue goals

Define the creator journey from first touch through activation and codifying what works into a repeatable motion

GTM Execution & Commercial Structuring

Build and run full-funnel creator acquisition campaigns spanning outbound, events, social, partnerships, and targeted paid, optimizing toward creator sign-ups, activation, and first-transaction milestones

Own the commercial structuring on every net-new VIP signing, designing VIP bonus and VIP guaranteed flat-fee campaign deals that win the creator and protect Mavely's unit economics

Run the SLG bonus program at the program level, owning budget, brand pairings, eligibility rules, and structural updates as the program evolves

Cross-functional Partnership

Partner with the Director of Creator Growth, PLG, on the self-serve to high-touch handoff so creators ready for VIP economics get routed in cleanly

Partner with Creator Success on the post-activation migration of VIP creators into pods, ensuring commercial context transfers cleanly

Team Leadership

Recruit, manage, and develop a SLG acquisition and activation team with deep creator economy or social platform backgrounds, holding a high bar on every hire

Operate as a player-coach: join the team on live deals, provide real-time coaching in calls and negotiations, and model the motion firsthand rather than running disconnected enablement

Measurement & Optimization

Define the measurement framework for creator SLG, including leading indicators (outbound activity, meeting volume, response rates, qualified pipeline) and lagging indicators (net-new VIP signed revenue, average deal terms versus plan, ramp time to first VIP signing)

Run structured experimentation across outreach messaging, deal structures, and target lists to identify what closes most efficiently, and scale what works

What success looks like

Within 60 days, you have completed a full audit of the existing creator SLG motion, mapped the gaps in pipeline, deal structure, and measurement, and presented a prioritized 12-month plan to leadership

By 90 days, you have embedded with the AE team on live deals, the outbound and deal-structuring motion is documented and repeatable based on wins you helped close, and at least one senior AE is in the hiring pipeline

At 6 months, the AE team is ramping against quota, deal economics on net-new VIP signings are tracking to plan, and a clear attribution model connects creator SLG pipeline to revenue outcomes

At 12 months, the creator SLG function operates as a repeatable, scalable acquisition engine with a senior AE team carrying the book

What you bring

8+ years of experience in creator marketing, growth marketing, or GTM roles with direct responsibility for acquisition at scale

Background at a social media platform, creator economy company, or affiliate/influencer marketing business, with firsthand understanding of how creators evaluate and adopt monetization tools

Proven track record of building and leading sales-led or sales-assisted growth programs that drove measurable creator or partner acquisition outcomes
