We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join our G2 (Gyn/GU) Oncology team! As a local medical voice of AstraZeneca, you will serve as the local medical leader responsible for developing a tailored strategy to meet the AZ USMA priorities in the disease area, as well as the local specificities and patient needs.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include: Acting as the local medical leader responsible for developing a tailored strategy to meet the AZ USMA priorities in the disease area, as well as the local specificities and patient needs. Developing strong working relationships in different external business settings (e.g. academia, hospitals, managed markets, private practices). Leading scientific exchanges with oncologists, urologists and key members of the MDT. Gathering insights on the treatment landscape, evolving healthcare environment and practice, barrier to optimal treatment and patient care or opportunities to improve outcomes of patients with cancer. Communicating internally insights, findings, and propose actions to improve patient care and outcomes. Discussing with KOLs data and educational gaps to ensure adequate use of our medicines and to inform our R&amp;D strategy to address patient needs. Summarizing appropriate clinical data into accurate and balanced information and clearly and concisely convey the most relevant information. Staying current with scientific knowledge (e.g. marketed and emerging products, competitors’ activities, key healthcare trends, anatomy &amp; physiology; pathophysiology in relevant disease states, and current therapeutic interventions related to disease states. Attending relevant scientific meetings and conferences. Collaborating with Clin ops on Ph3 trials from feasibility to execution of trials. Discussing and following-up on ESRs.</p>
