Principal Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations for commodities entities.
• Collaborate with the broader accounting team to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with trading desks, operations, and counterparties to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide insights into market trends and their impact on portfolio valuation and risk metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of commodities accounting workflows.
• Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory frameworks, including GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
• Prepare audit documentation and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in fund accounting, with a focus on commodities markets.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in fund accounting systems (e.g., Geneva).
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of commodities markets, including derivatives and physical assets.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting hedge funds and commodities trading.

• Track and manage investor PNL allocations, including both asset-based and PNL-based fee structures across fund entities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the firm including Financial Reporting, PM Compensation, Valuation, Operations, Middle Office, Legal, Investor Relations, and Tax
• Assist in reconciliations to both the internal operations team and third-party fund administrator, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reporting

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience at a public accounting firm or within a hedge fund environment; CPA preferred
• Geneva experience is required; strong working knowledge of fund accounting systems
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Solid understanding of fund accounting principles for private credit and alternative investment funds
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with web-based financial applications
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a demanding, high-volume environment
• A dynamic, proactive personality with the confidence to present findings and recommendations to senior management
