accountabilities including:</li>\n<li>Development of secondary and tertiary packaging</li>\n<li>On time, in full delivery of project success factors</li>\n<li>Creation of meaningful improvements and cost savings projects to protect brands and defend vs competition</li>\n<li>Effective technical transfer of information to the factory / CMO</li>\n<li>Packaging leadership of US strategic business protection &amp; maintenance projects</li>\n<li>Create packaging solutions by using in-depth technical knowledge, experience, and education; considering the shopper, customer, channel, brand, financial, technical, and compliance success factors.</li>\n<li>Partner with the US Product Supply and Development Center to contribute to category business protection &amp; maintenance plans, with specific packaging strategy insights and recommendations.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the broader P&amp;D group as well as all cross-functional partners to ensure smooth transfer of information, holistic understanding of project needs, and adherence to requirements.</li>\n<li>Develop key external partnerships (in collaboration with Procurement) to ensure best fit to project needs, innovative supplier selection, and cost budget targets.</li>\n<li>Develop key internal partnerships (in collaboration with consumer insights, manufacturing and sales) to reduce damage in the supply chain and improve manufacturing efficiencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>WHO YOU ARE: Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: Packaging Engineering Bachelor&#39;s Degree (or equivalent degree);</li>\n<li>Experience: A proven track record in managing packaging development, including the creation, development &amp; delivery of new packaging and business protection &amp; maintenance of launched packaging, ensuring efficient production and best in class quality in the supply chain.
