<p>Collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Flight Test teams is essential to reduce rework and improve efficiency.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have an Associate&#39;s or Bachelor&#39;s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or Engineering Technology) and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, assembly, fabrication, or installations.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>The MRB Design Engineer - Structures &amp; Systems reviews defects, establishes root cause, provides an acceptable disposition to repair the discrepant condition using engineering principles and determines if corrective action is required.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include reviewing discrepancy documents, developing repair dispositions, providing on-site technical support, assisting in determining if discrepancies are engineering-related or workmanship issues, and initiating design and process changes to correct design errors.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor&#39;s of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in MRB type design and/or repair of aircraft structures &amp; systems. They will also have working knowledge of Aircraft structure and aircraft systems, materials, fasteners, production methods, corrosion prevention, production hand tools, non-destructive testing, and Standard Repair Methods (SRM).</p>
<p>Additional requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes, ability to write clear, concise, and easily understandable step-by-step rework, repair, and system troubleshooting instructions, and ability to create rework/repair drawings using CATIA, PowerPoint, Word, or hand-drawn sketches.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be able to work independently or within a team-oriented environment, effectively communicate with all MRB team members and with all levels throughout the organisation, and be willing to travel to the shop floor or adjacent buildings to investigate problems on the aircraft or in production areas.</p>
