Software Engineer II - ADEX

Enterprises of all sizes trust Abnormal's AI-native security products to stop cybercrime and protect critical communications, identities, and infrastructure in the cloud.

As a Software Engineer II on the ADEX Team, you are a highly capable detection feature owner: you take a detection problem, come up with an idea, design a technical approach, and drive it end-to-end, from design and implementation through launch, operation, and continuous improvement.

The Advanced Detection of EXtended threats (ADEX) is an attack-detection team inside Abnormal's Detection org. We own several of the highest-visibility detection surfaces at the company, spanning attachment-based attacks, fraud, and impersonation.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate detection that is core to Abnormal's products, from initial design through rollout, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.

Own detection projects end-to-end, including those that begin with a degree of ambiguity: scope loosely defined problems, identify risks, define milestones, and deliver reliably.

Analyze attacks that get through. Pull and study missed-attack data, read the messages the way an attacker and an analyst would, identify the underlying pattern, and translate it into detection enhancements or entirely new detection systems.

Write and tune detection logic using scored signals and attributes, add new signals across the pipeline, and drive changes to launch with a strong focus on minimizing false positives.

Build and evaluate LLM-based detection agents, and measure precision and recall rigorously with our evaluation tooling.

Surface your detections as reusable intelligence that other products and teams across the platform can consume.

Participate in the on-call rotation for your detection surfaces, debug and resolve customer escalations, and feed learnings back into design, observability, and runbooks across regions.

Leverage AI as a core part of your development loop for code, tests, data analysis, experiments, and documentation, while maintaining strong engineering judgment and validation practices.

Contribute to team health and culture by documenting heavily, sharing learnings, and giving thoughtful feedback in code and design reviews.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping and operating production systems.

Strong software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design basics, testing, debugging, and clean, maintainable code.

Strong Python proficiency and comfort learning new languages and frameworks as needed.

Solid data-analysis instincts. You are comfortable with SQL and reasoning over large datasets to find signals in noise.

A detection or adversarial mindset. You enjoy thinking like an attacker, reading real attack samples, and asking, "How would I get past this?"

Genuine fluency with AI-native development. You already use AI coding agents in your daily work and are excited to build LLM-powered detection, not just consume AI tools.

Demonstrated ability to own projects that carry some initial ambiguity: clarify and scope loosely defined requirements, make tradeoffs explicit, deliver on time, and communicate status clearly.

Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in remote, distributed teams.

A strong growth mindset and sense of ownership.

Nice to Have

Experience with distributed systems, high-throughput pipelines, or large-scale data stores (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, RocksDB, Kafka, Spark, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).

Background in security, threat detection, anti-abuse, fraud detection, or trust and safety, particularly systems processing high volumes of email or communication data.

Experience with ML or LLM evaluation: precision/recall tradeoffs, eval harnesses, prompt iteration.

Familiarity with domain and DNS concepts (such as typosquatting and homoglyphs) or with identity and impersonation signals.

Experience with large-scale data tooling (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Airflow) and distributed pipelines.

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tooling.

Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) for full-stack roles, or with ML/ML Ops for Detection/MLE-focused roles.

Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you've had to balance speed, quality, and ambiguity.

Software Engineer 1

About the Role

Enterprises of all sizes trust Abnormal's AI-native security products to stop cybercrime and protect critical communications, identities, and infrastructure in the cloud. Our products are data- and systems-intensive, operating at high scale across multiple clouds and regions.

As a Software Engineer I on our Message Security Products (MSP) team in Bengaluru, you will help build and run new email security products from the ground up. This is a hands-on, full-stack role with a strong backend focus. You will work alongside experienced engineers who provide direction and review, and you are expected to carry projects through to delivery. The role suits an engineer with a couple of years of experience who notices problems and builds solutions without being asked.

Our charter is expanding into new areas that build on Abnormal's core Email Security offering and serve a large customer base. This is a chance to join early and help shape what we build.

Responsibilities

Build and ship features across the stack for our new and expanding products, from design discussion through implementation, testing, and rollout. Most of your work will be backend services and APIs, with some UI work such as customer-facing views and internal tools.

Take over projects and drive them end to end. Clarify requirements, break work into steps, write the code, and validate changes in test and production, with guidance from experienced engineers on the team.

Build the data and state handling behind our products, such as gathering data from our core email security platform and running scheduled and background jobs.

Keep what you ship reliable. Fix bugs, address bottlenecks, add tests and monitoring, and help debug production issues. You will learn incident-handling practices before joining the formal on-call rotation.

Work with partner teams and stakeholders, including Product, security, customer-facing teams, and other engineering teams, so your changes fit the systems upstream and downstream of them.

Use AI tools throughout your development loop for code, tests, documentation, and experiments, and learn to validate AI-generated output to a high engineering standard.

Spot problems and build small solutions. When you see a gap in our workflow, tooling, or product, you raise it and prototype a fix.

Share what you learn through clear documentation, runbooks, code reviews, and project write-ups, and take on larger and less defined work as you grow.

Requirements

About 2 years of professional software engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Full-stack experience with a clear backend lean. You have worked on at least one UI project and one backend project. Backend experience is essential, and the role leans toward backend work.

Backend development in Python and/or Go, including designing and building REST APIs.

Working knowledge of relational databases.

Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and with containers (Docker), plus exposure to Kubernetes.

Solid computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, the basics of distributed systems and performance, and clean, testable code.

Awareness of production observability and reliability, such as logging, metrics, alerting, and debugging live systems.

Working fluency with AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Claude.

Initiative. You have spotted a problem and built a small solution without being asked, such as an internal tool, dashboard, portal, or automation wizard. Examples from work, open source, or personal projects all count.

Ownership. You can take over a project and drive it to completion without close supervision.

Clear communication. You can explain technical tradeoffs in writing and in conversation, and you are comfortable working with Product, security, and customer-facing teams.

Interest in core engineering work. You want to build backend and frontend systems. This is not an AI agent or ML role, though you will have plenty of exposure to AI-assisted development.

Nice to Have

Experience with state management and workflow orchestration systems such as Airflow, Temporal, or DAG-based pipelines.

Exposure to messaging and queueing systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or SNS.

Familiarity with a modern frontend framework such as React.

Benefits

Early-stage ownership with senior support. Our charter is growing into new areas. You will help shape what we build while it is still taking shape and grow in scope as it does, working alongside experienced engineers.

Real scaling problems. You will work on collecting data at volume from the core email security platform, managing workflow state for enterprise customers, and keeping customer-facing features reliable.

Impact on customers. Your work helps organizations stay protected from sophisticated email attacks.

An AI-native R&D organization. Abnormal's AI-Initiated Development approach goes well beyond using AI to write code. You will build the habits and judgment that define how strong engineers work in the AI era, with investment in tools, workflows, and training.

A clear growth path. You get ownership suited to your level and room to take on larger projects and grow toward SWE 2 and beyond.

Senior Manager, Demand Generation Operations

Every closed-won deal starts as a signal. Your job is to make sure none of them get lost.

As Senior Manager, Demand Generation Operations, you'll be the strategic business partner to Abnormal's Revenue Marketing and Digital Marketing leaders, and the person who connects marketing activity to revenue outcomes. Reporting to Ted Noble, VP of GTM Operations, you'll translate ARR and pipeline targets into operational demand generation strategies and execution roadmaps, then ensure we are exceeding our plan for full funnel from MQL to Closed Won. When conversion stalls, a handoff breaks, or a stage gets stuck, you'll find out why and fix it. This is a role for someone who is energized by funnel math, cross-functional alignment, and turning messy data into clear decisions, and who wants to help make Abnormal the #1 AI-native company.

Abnormal is growing quickly with more than 5,000 customers and over 30% of the Fortune 500 trusting us to protect their people. As we expand from email security into the Abnormal Behavioral AI platform, the funnel gets more complex: more products, more buying committees, and more paths from first touch to closed-won. Hitting our growth goals depends on a demand engine that is measured clearly, managed tightly, and improved every quarter. You'll build and run that engine.

Responsibilities

Turn targets into plans. Translate ARR and pipeline targets into operational demand generation strategies, funnel models, and execution roadmaps, working back from revenue goals to the volume, conversion, and velocity needed at every stage.

Be the strategic partner to marketing leadership. Serve as the operational business partner to the leaders of Revenue Marketing and Digital Marketing, helping them plan, prioritize, and invest where the funnel says it will matter most.

Own the lead lifecycle model. Establish and refine the end-to-end lead lifecycle model (MQL, GP, SAL, QP, POV, Closed Won), conversion benchmarks, and Sales-Marketing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Run the funnel reviews. Lead regular pipeline velocity and campaign performance reviews with Sales, Business Development (BDR/SDR), and Marketing executives to identify funnel bottlenecks and optimize conversion paths.

Solve bottlenecks from MQL to Closed Won. Diagnose where and why pipeline stalls, whether in lead quality, speed-to-lead, handoffs, stage progression, or win rates, and drive the fixes with the teams that own them.

Hold the line on SLAs. Monitor SLA adherence and stage latency across Marketing, SDR, and Sales teams, and make performance visible so accountability is shared and gaps get closed quickly.

Connect programs to pipeline. Partner with Marketing Operations and Revenue Analytics to measure campaign and channel performance against pipeline and revenue, so investment decisions are grounded in real outcomes.

Plan for a multi-product funnel. Help evolve the funnel model, targeting, and account-based planning as we sell more products into more buying committees across the platform.

Use AI to see problems sooner. Bring an AI-first mindset to funnel monitoring, using automation and AI-driven insights to surface early warning signs and recommended actions before they become missed quarters.

Partner across GTM. Work closely with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Systems & Analytics, Sales, and SDR leadership so systems, definitions, and reporting stay aligned across the funnel.

Must Haves

7+ years of experience in demand generation operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related analytical GTM role at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.

Proven track record translating revenue and pipeline targets into demand generation plans and funnel models.

Deep experience designing and managing lead lifecycle models, stage definitions, conversion benchmarks, and Sales-Marketing SLAs.

Experience leading pipeline and campaign performance reviews with senior Sales and Marketing leaders, and driving action from the findings.

Strong analytical skills and comfort working with funnel, attribution, and pipeline data across Salesforce, marketing automation, and BI tools.

Working knowledge of lead scoring, routing, and marketing attribution, and how they affect funnel performance.

Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with the credibility to align Marketing, SDR, and Sales leaders around shared definitions and goals.

Nice to Haves

Experience with tools in our ecosystem, such as Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, Snowflake, and Sigma.

Experience supporting account-based marketing and multi-product or platform GTM motions.

Background in cybersecurity or another technical, enterprise-focused category.

Director, Revenue Systems Analytics

About the Role

Abnormal was built to spot what everyone else misses. The same instinct should power how we run our business.

As Director, Revenue Systems & Analytics, you'll own the technology and the truth behind Abnormal's go-to-market engine. Reporting to Ted Noble, VP of GTM Operations, you'll lead the strategy, roadmap, and team behind our marketing, sales, and customer success tech stacks, and you'll build the executive-level analytics that show how the whole revenue machine actually performs, from first touch to renewal and expansion. This is a role for a restless builder: someone who sees a disconnected stack or a siloed dashboard as an invitation to redesign it, and who wants to help make Abnormal the #1 AI-native company, starting with how we go to market.

Abnormal is growing quickly, with more than 5,000 customers and over 30% of the Fortune 500 trusting us to protect their people. As we expand from email security into a broader behavioral AI platform, the motions get more complex: more products, more buying journeys, more handoffs between Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Your systems and your numbers will be what keeps all of it connected, and what lets leadership see clearly where growth is coming from next.

What You Will Do

Own the GTM tech stack end to end. Lead strategy, architecture, and roadmap across the marketing, sales, and customer success technology ecosystems, treating them as one connected revenue platform rather than three separate toolsets.

Build a roadmap that drives growth. Align every system investment to company strategy and revenue goals, prioritizing ruthlessly based on impact to pipeline, conversion, retention, and expansion.

Lead with an AI-first approach. Define how AI and agentic workflows show up across the GTM stack, from automating manual work to surfacing insights reps and leaders can act on. Set the standard that AI accelerates decisions without sacrificing accuracy, auditability, or trust in the data.

Make revenue analytics the single source of truth. Lead the Revenue Analytics function and build and maintain executive-level dashboards that show true end-to-end performance across the full customer lifecycle, so leaders from the CEO down are working from the same numbers.

Break down silos. Design metrics, definitions, and reporting that cut across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, uniting every team around the shared goal of growth instead of functional scorecards.

Govern data like it matters. Partner closely with Data and Finance on data quality, governance, and metric definitions so GTM reporting reconciles cleanly and holds up in board and executive settings.

Manage the stack as a business. Own GTM software strategy, vendor relationships, budget, and renewals, consolidating where it makes sense and investing where it moves the needle.

Build and lead the team. Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team of systems, data, and analytics professionals, including people leaders, and grow the next generation of leaders within GTM Operations.

Be a strategic partner to GTM leadership. Work hand in hand with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, IT, and Security leaders to translate business priorities into systems and insights, and bring a clear point of view on what the data says about where to go next.

Must Haves

10+ years of experience in GTM systems, revenue operations, or revenue analytics at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with at least 5 years leading teams.

Proven track record owning a multi-function GTM tech stack (marketing, sales, and customer success) and delivering a strategic roadmap tied to revenue outcomes.

Deep expertise in Salesforce as the core system of record, plus hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse and BI platform for executive reporting.

Experience building executive and board-level dashboards that connect the full funnel, from pipeline generation through bookings, retention, and expansion.

Strong command of GTM metrics and definitions (pipeline, conversion, ARR, net and gross retention, forecast) and the credibility to defend them in front of senior leaders.

Demonstrated experience bringing AI and automation into GTM systems and workflows, with sound judgment about where it helps and where it adds risk.

Experience managing software budgets, vendor negotiations, and stack rationalization.

Exceptional cross-functional leadership: the ability to align Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and IT around shared priorities and shared numbers.

Nice to Haves

Experience with tools in our ecosystem, such as Marketo, Gainsight, Gong, Snowflake, Sigma, Workato, and Highspot.

Background in cybersecurity or another technical, enterprise-focused category.

Experience scaling GTM systems and analytics through a multi-product or platform expansion.

#LI-ML2

Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary range:$210,400-$302,500 USD A note on AI in our process: Abnormal AI uses AI-assisted tools to help our recruiting team prepare for candidate interviews. These tools analyze resume content and role requirements to suggest interview questions and areas for the interviewer to explore. They do not make hiring decisions or screen candidates automatically.
Tech Lead Manager - Product Engineering (Identity Security)

Enterprises face two simultaneous transformations: moving critical infrastructure to the cloud and adopting AI agents at scale. Both create an identity explosion, humans, service accounts, and AI agents now outnumber traditional users 10-to-1, each with permissions that legacy tools can't govern. Abnormal's Identity Security team is building a platform to secure this new reality: unified visibility across all identity types, behavioral intelligence that understands what's normal, and AI-native automation that operates at cloud speed.

The Identity Security team is looking for a Tech Lead Manager to build and lead this critical product area. You'll start hands-on with a small team, shipping code while growing the product toward market fit.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 6-8 engineers, writing and reviewing code daily alongside them

Collaborate closely on technical direction while building foundations for a scalable product

Partner directly with internal and external customers to gather feedback and iterate quickly

Grow the team and product as you find traction and expand scope

Set engineering standards and practices that will scale as the team grows

This Role Is a Fit If You

Want to be deeply technical while building leadership skills, you're excited to code, not just manage

Thrive in ambiguity and can guide a small team through uncertainty toward product-market fit

Have strong instincts for what customers need and how to translate that into product decisions

Enjoy the founding-team dynamic: small group, high ownership, fast iteration

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ year in a tech lead or engineering management role

Track record of shipping products in fast-moving environments

Ability to read, write, and review code at a high level (Python/Go preferred)

Experience hiring and developing engineers

Bay Area location required,we operate with 25% in-office presence

Preferred

Experience building enterprise/B2B security products

Familiarity with machine learning systems or ML-adjacent infrastructure

Exposure to AWS, Kafka, containerized services, microservices

Growth Paths

Expand scope as Identity Security grows, taking on additional product lines

Build out a larger team as you scale beyond initial product-market fit

Position yourself for senior leadership as the org matures

What We Offer

The opportunity to join a veteran team that has built enduring ML platforms at Google, Twitter, Pinterest, Amazon, Microsoft, and Expanse. Our customer base includes multiple Fortune 500 companies, and Identity Security is a critical bet for Abnormal's future.

The actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary range: $187,400-$269,500 USD

You're equally at home building a project plan in a spreadsheet and troubleshooting a badge-printer jam at 7am. You're calm when things go sideways, direct when something isn't working, and generous with your stakeholders when it goes right.

Most of all, you care about the craft. The details other people don't notice are exactly the ones you fix.

What Success Looks Like

Your events are delivered flawlessly and consistently.

Registrations, attendance, meetings and pipeline consistently hit or beat plan for the events you own.

Budgets and vendor relationships are managed with discipline and transparency.

Every event has a clear measurement story and a defensible ROI.

Software Engineer II - Insider Risk

As organisations face increasingly sophisticated social engineering and insider threats, the very foundation of trust, the employee identity,is under attack. Abnormal’s Identity Security team is building a groundbreaking product to detect and prevent fraudulent employee identities, specifically targeting high-stakes threats like infiltrators seeking to funnel funds through deceptive employment.

You will build identity verification and fraud detection systems to scrutinise candidate data during the application process.

Responsibilities:

Build identity verification and fraud detection systems to scrutinise candidate data during the application process.

Develop sophisticated correlation engines that match candidate details (IPs, phone numbers, email history, resume metadata) against known indicators of fraudulent or state-sponsored activity.

Senior Strategic Events Manager

Abnormal is growing fast, and the way we show up in the world has to keep pace. Our events are where our story becomes an experience, bringing customers, prospects, partners, and security leaders closer to our brand, our products, and our people.

As Senior Strategic Events Manager, you’ll play a leading role in bringing these experiences to life, with a primary focus on Abnormal’s owned, executive, and internal events, while also supporting select high-impact third-party programs.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery across a diverse portfolio, from summits, roadshows, customer programs, and executive experiences to internal events and major industry moments. You’ll translate our broader event strategy into exceptional programs: shaping agendas and experiences, managing budgets and vendors, coordinating cross-functional teams, and leading execution on the ground to ensure every detail lands.

First-Party & Third-Party Events

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of some of Abnormal's key strategic events , from strategy and budget through delivery, measurement, and post-event analysis.

Own every component that makes an owned event work: venue and vendor selection, production, registration and attendee journey, hospitality, staffing, technology, and on-site operations , partnering with Brand Creative, Content, and Comms on creative, branding, and agenda.

Build the run-of-show, the project plan, the timeline, and the contingency plan , then run the room.

Partner with Sales, Strategic Alliances, Campaigns, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, and others to make sure every event is engineered for pipeline and customer engagement, not just attendance.

Manage budgets, contracts, POs, and vendor deliverables with real rigor. Know where every dollar went and what it returned.

Develop repeatable playbooks, templates, and standards so the portfolio scales without losing quality.

Act as the event's point of contact for your programs , the person stakeholders trust to have it handled.

Anticipate risk, escalate early and appropriately, and keep programs on track when priorities shift.

Executive Experiences

Design and deliver premium executive programs: advisory boards, curated hospitality, and the executive tracks inside our larger events.

Bring hospitality-grade instincts to a B2B environment , anticipatory, service-minded, and unwilling to let a detail slide , paired with the resourcefulness to build it yourself when there's no playbook yet.

Make sure every touchpoint in the executive journey is intentional, frictionless, and elevated. From the invitation to the follow-up.

Collaborate with our executive team, internal SMEs, and Product Marketing to build agendas and content that give C-level audiences genuine insight, not a product demo in a nicer room.

Coordinate executive and VIP participation end to end , briefing materials, prep, on-site handling, and thoughtful follow-through.

Represent Abnormal directly to senior customer executives and their teams with professionalism, situational awareness, and a premium service mindset.

Large Internal Events

Co-own the planning and delivery of Abnormal's largest internal moments , Sales Kickoff and President’s Club.

Partner with Sales, Revenue Marketing, and People to define objectives, build the agenda, and manage production, venue, travel, and on-site operations.

Treat our own people with the same experience standard we give customers.

Measurement & Impact

Define and track KPIs for every program: attendance, engagement, meetings, pipeline influence, customer participation, and ROI.

Deliver post-event reporting with real recommendations , what we repeat, what we kill, what we invest more in.

Use data and stakeholder feedback to continuously sharpen strategy, investment, and execution.

Keep event documentation and reporting accurate and accessible across the portfolio.

What You Bring

6+ years in strategic events, executive programs, or field marketing , including direct experience owning executive-level programs.

Proven ownership of complex, high-visibility owned events and executive programs from strategy through execution and analysis.

A premium experience mindset.

Strong program management chops.

Experience delivering large internal events.

Real budget, vendor, agency, and contract management experience.

Exceptional communication skills.

Executive maturity.

Composure under pressure.

Commercially minded.

Demonstrated use of AI to improve how you work.

Willingness to travel roughly 25%, primarily in North America.

What Success Looks Like

Abnormal's event portfolio is delivered flawlessly, consistently, and at a standard people talk about afterward.

Executive programs create genuine relationships with the most influential security leaders in our market.

Sales, marketing, leadership, customers, and partners have an exceptional experience.

Budgets and resources are managed with discipline and transparency.

Every program has a clear measurement story and a defensible ROI.

Playbooks and standards exist that make the next event better than the last one.

Senior Director, Global Enablement

About the Role

Our products move fast. Our field has to move faster.

As Senior Director, Global Enablement, you'll lead the function that gets every Abnormal seller, engineer, customer success leader, and channel partner ready to win, and keeps them ready as our platform grows. Reporting to Ted Noble, VP of GTM Operations, you'll lead a team of enablement directors, managers, and their teams across field enablement, technical enablement, onboarding, certifications, and partner enablement. You'll own the programs people remember, from our in-person onboarding bootcamps to field enablement events, and you'll build the system behind them: an AI-first, just-in-time enablement engine with feedback loops that turn what's happening in the field into what we teach next. This is a role for someone who wants to help make Abnormal the #1 AI-native company and who cares about helping people get better at their craft.

Enablement is a core growth driver at Abnormal. We closed FY26 at roughly $380M in ARR, growing about 50% year over year, with more than 5,000 customers and over 30% of the Fortune 500 trusting us to protect their people. Our next chapter is the transition from email security to the Abnormal Behavioral AI platform, with multiple products across email, identity, and AI security. That shift only turns into growth if every seller, engineer, and partner can tell the platform story, sell multiple products into the same account, and support customers as they expand. We're also launching new products faster than traditional, quarterly training cycles can keep up with. You'll make enablement the engine that turns our platform strategy into pipeline, multi-product deals, and expansion.

What You Will Do

Make enablement a core growth driver. Position enablement as a strategic lever for the company's growth plan, directly tied to the shift to the Abnormal Behavioral AI platform. Build the programs that help the field move from single-product deals to platform and multi-product selling, and land, expand, and retain customers across the portfolio.

Lead a global, unified enablement organization. Set the strategy and operating model for field, technical, customer success, and partner enablement, and lead a multi-team organization of directors and managers, developing them into the next generation of enablement leaders and building succession across the function.

Build role-based programs for every field role. Design learning paths, programs, and skill development for AEs, SDRs, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Professional Services, sales leaders, and Channel partners, each tuned to what that role needs to succeed.

Own role-based certifications. Define the standards that show someone is ready, from first-meeting readiness to product and technical mastery, and hold a high bar for certification quality, not just completion.

Run world-class onboarding and bootcamps. Own our in-person onboarding bootcamps and new hire programs so every GTM hire ramps quickly and arrives in front of customers prepared.

Own in-person field enablement. Plan and deliver high-impact live programs, including regional workshops, launch events, and enablement moments at company kickoffs, that build skills and energy across the field.

Lead technical enablement. Build product and technical depth across the GTM organization, aligned to our product portfolio, so every role understands what each product does, how the products work together as a platform, and how to position them against competitors.

Build partner and channel enablement. Create a scalable partner enablement program, including onboarding, certifications, and technical readiness, so partners can sell and deliver Abnormal with less reliance on our field teams.

Build an AI-first, just-in-time enablement engine. Design the system that gets the right answer, asset, or practice to the right person at the moment they need it, using AI role play, AI coaching, in-workflow guidance, and automated reinforcement. Set the standard that AI scales enablement without sacrificing accuracy or depth.

Keep pace with product velocity. Partner with Product and Product Marketing on a repeatable launch-readiness process with clear inputs, timelines, and readiness gates, so the field is certified and confident at launch.

Create continuous feedback loops. Use call insights, deal outcomes, certification data, and field feedback to find skill gaps early and adjust programs continuously.

Measure what matters. Track enablement impact on ramp time, certification quality, field confidence, behavior change, multi-product attach, and pipeline and revenue outcomes, and report it clearly to GTM and executive leadership.

Plan and allocate resources across teams. Own prioritization, intake, capacity planning, and budget across the enablement organization, including the enablement tech stack.

Be a strategic partner across GTM. Work closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Channel, Product, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations leadership to align enablement with company priorities.

Must Haves

12+ years of experience in sales, technical, or GTM enablement at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with at least 6 years leading teams, including leading multiple managers or directors across a global organization spanning North America, EMEA, and APJ.

Proven track record building and scaling enablement for multiple field roles, including AEs, SDRs, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success.

Experience enabling a GTM organization through a transition from a single product to a multi-product platform, with measurable impact on growth.

AI Security Sales Executive, TOLA

AI is rewriting how every company works, and everyone is racing to figure out how to secure it. We have, and we need someone to take it to market.

The AI Security Sales Executive is a quota-carrying sales role dedicated entirely to Abnormal's AI Security suite: five products built to help customers govern AI, secure AI, and defend against rogue AI. You will own AI Security in your territory, from the first conversation through close, hunting the largest new logos while working alongside the Account Executives who already know our customers best.

Responsibilities

Own AI Security in your territory. Carry the AI Security quota and run the full sales cycle end to end, from first conversation through close, including significant upsell campaigns across our existing customer base.

Hunt the largest new logos. Take Abnormal's AI Security story into the biggest enterprises in the world, and open doors beyond the customers who already trust us.

Prioritize ruthlessly. Inbound interest will outpace your calendar. Decide where your time moves the needle, and where it does not.

Partner with Account Executives. Work alongside the core team in your territory, equip them to carry AI Security conversations, and step in on the deals that matter most.

Go deep on the technology. Hold your own with security and platform teams on behavioral AI, cloud security, and agent security when a customer needs more than a standard pitch.

Run point on design partner conversations for products still in early availability, working closely with product leadership to shape these deals and bring the right resources to the table.

Shape the product and the playbook. Feed what you hear in the field back to product leadership in a fast loop, and help build how AI Security gets sold as the suite matures from early availability to GA.

Stay current as the suite evolves. Availability and depth will shift quickly, and you will keep pace.

What You'll Sell Abnormal's AI Security suite includes five products, each at a different stage of availability:

AI Governance: Discovers your AI, uncovers shadow AI, and shows who's using what and at what cost.

AI Cloud Security: Detects and contains AI cloud breaches using behavioral AI and honeypots.

AI Employee Guardrails: Lets employees use AI without leaking data or triggering unintended actions.

AI Agent Security: Inventories an organization's AI agents and ensures they behave as intended.

AI Security Workbench: Lets security teams use AI to run investigations with Abnormal's models, without guardrails.

Why This Role Matters Right Now Every security vendor is staking a claim in AI security. Abnormal has earned real credibility here through eight years of behavioral AI investment and a track record protecting email for thousands of customers. That trust is an advantage today, not a permanent one, and this role exists to make sure we capitalize on it while the window is open.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, primarily selling into Enterprise accounts, with a proven record of winning new logos and expanding accounts.

Technical depth and curiosity: comfort discussing AI architecture, cloud security concepts, and how behavioral models work, in enough detail to earn trust with technical buyers.

A hunter's drive paired with the judgment to prioritize when demand exceeds capacity.

Comfort operating in ambiguity. The suite and the motion for selling it are still evolving, and much of the playbook will be written by whoever takes this role on.

Strong cross-functional instincts. You will partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineering, and product leadership, and you will work autonomously between those touchpoints.

Nice to Haves

Direct experience selling AI security, cloud security, or other emerging security categories.

Experience in an overlay, specialist, or advisory role in cybersecurity or AI, or a record of selling into CISOs and security leaders.

Experience selling early-availability products and shaping design partner deals.

Benefits Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

AI Security Sales Executive, Northeast

AI is rewriting how every company works, and everyone is racing to figure out how to secure it. We have, and we need someone to take it to market.

The AI Security Sales Executive is a quota-carrying sales role dedicated to Abnormal's AI Security suite: five products built to help customers govern AI, secure AI, and defend against rogue AI. You will work alongside the Account Executives who know our customers best: joining land motions, driving AI Security expansion across our 5,000+ customers, and running focused outbound to win net new logos in the largest enterprises.

Responsibilities

Own AI Security in your region. Carry the AI Security quota and run the sales cycle from first conversation through close.

Drive expansion across our customer base. Lead upsell campaigns into customers who already trust Abnormal, and join land motions where AI Security belongs in the conversation.

Run focused pipeline generation. Build a targeted, strategic outbound motion to open net new logos in the largest enterprises, partnering with the core AE where a relationship exists. Quality over volume.

Partner with Account Executives. Work alongside the core team in your region, equip them to carry AI Security conversations, and step in on the deals that matter most.

Go deep on the technology. Hold your own with security and platform teams on AI governance, agent security, and cloud security when a customer needs more than a standard pitch.

Run point on design partner conversations for products still in early availability, working closely with product leadership to shape these deals and bring the right resources to the table.

Shape the product and the playbook. Work directly with Product and R&D leadership, including our co-founder and CTO, and feed what you hear in the field back in a fast loop as the suite matures from early availability to GA.

Build AI Security expertise across the sales team, in addition to closing.

A record of selling in security or closely adjacent infrastructure.

Technical depth and curiosity: comfort discussing AI architecture, cloud security concepts, and how behavioral models work, in enough detail to earn trust with technical buyers.

A consultative, challenger style, paired with the hunter instincts to run strategic outbound into new logos.
