The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing and interpreting a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations, including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring
• Carrying out and reporting on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments
• Undertaking and interpreting echocardiograms (transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echo, if appropriately trained)
• Assisting in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies
• Monitoring and recording intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Providing technical support during pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implantations

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

• Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
• A degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning
• Previous experience in a relevant specialty desirable (e.g., surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care)
