We're looking for a Claims Associate - Recovery to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. As a Claims Associate - Recovery, you will process and review subrogation claims across all lines of business and all jurisdictions within an entry-level caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review subrogation claims
• Maintain a monthly diary on cadence, aligned to department service expectations and schedules
• Process recoveries into various claims systems
• Work with collections agencies when appropriate
• Respond to clients' questions timely and professionally
• Approve and/or pay bills as appropriate
• Prepare various type status reports for clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Claims industry experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations
• Ability to work in a team environment
