As a Beauty Sales Consultant, you will be the primary beauty advisor to customers in a CVS Health store. Your goal is to provide exceptional customer service, share the latest beauty trends and techniques, and build a personalized, robust basket for each customer.

Customer Sales Experience

• Provide personalized sales service to customers based on their needs and preferences.
• Engage in conversations with customers, listen to their concerns, and offer specialized sales advice.
• Use verbal skills to generate sales and stimulate different thought processes.
• Be a brand expert by answering customer questions in detail with product knowledge.

Operational

• Educate customers on how various products can address their needs, and leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships.
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events that positively impact business.
• Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and other beauty-specific promotional materials.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training with ongoing training/educational programs.
• Execute the established sales plan by meeting sales budgets and tracking progress.
• Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls.
• Compete with yourself to beat prior sales goals and maximize sales budget.

Physical Requirements

• Physical abilities to support essential functions, such as standing and moving throughout the store.

Required Qualifications

• Sales-oriented with the ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Goal-driven with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• In specific CVS stores, bilingual beauty advisors that can speak to customers in both English and Spanish are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior beauty sales experience.
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands.
• Strong passion for beauty.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
