Responsibilities:

Own the full design lifecycle of data products – from early product concepts and high-level workflows to micro-interactions and crisp, effective visual design.

Develop a strategic vision and product roadmap for data products and solutions that support supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing functions, aligning design decisions with company objectives, roadmap goals, and market demands.

Ship hands-on: prototype and build out products alongside engineers, treating them as partners; be fluent enough using Palantir Foundry.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams – product managers, developers, and researchers – to balance user goals with technical and business constraints.

Define and document product requirements, including data sources, data processing, and analytics capabilities; manage and prioritize the product backlog based on changing requirements.

Oversee all stages of product creation including design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring products meet quality and performance standards.

Write strong user stories that capture complete requirements and relate to portfolio value.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of data solutions; track and analyze product performance metrics and prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints as a leader and champion of the SAFe process.

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience with taxonomy and ontology development

5+ years of experience in preparing, conducting and analyzing user research

5+ years’ experience with analytics tools including Tableau, SQL, R, and Python

5+ years’ experience with products developed using Agile software development practices and familiarity with Tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence

Experience working within a Scrum team or in similar Agile project setups

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Experience with product design and processes

5+ years’ experience working with aerospace systems?

Preferred Qualifications:

Palantir Foundry hands-on experience at a Level 5 / expert tier – building operational applications on an ontology.

Experience as a hands-on designer who ships code every week, or a researcher who shares detailed user research findings with the team.

Experience in the aerospace industry, supply chain, manufacturing and engineering.

10+ years of experience in a technology or design leadership role

Benefits:

Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities

Health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs
