Security (BDS) Satellite Systems Engineering organization.</p>\n<p>Our team creates software tools and services for the world’s highest performing satellite/ground systems for USG and Commercial customers.</p>\n<p>This is an opportunity to work in a rapid development environment using modern technology, architecture, and tools.</p>\n<p>The senior position requires proven leadership and experience within the software ecosystem, a unique background of project experience, and the clear exhibition of superior judgment and decision making to engineer new solutions and capabilities.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.</li>\n<li>Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.</li>\n<li>Leads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.</li>\n<li>Leads, develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and design for high-performance software solutions.</li>\n<li>Leading software system design activities including Software Requirement Specification (SRS) development, Hardware and Software Interface Requirements Specification (IRS), and integrating completed software components into a fully functional software system through mission/system testing.</li>\n<li>Support progress demonstration presentations to customer representatives and program/IPT leadership.</li>\n<li>Support IPT by implementing a structured approach to defining and meeting a development and integration schedule alongside a rigorously managed cost baseline.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience with systems engineering for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning and data processing</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration &amp;
