We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and can respond positively to change and challenges. You will be passionate about supporting others and helping your team succeed, ensuring cleaning services are delivered to operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of cleaning staff to deliver high standards across the site
• Planning and coordinating staff rotas to ensure continuity of service
• Supporting recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of team members
• Monitoring cleaning standards and ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Managing stock, equipment, and supplies, including ordering and stock control
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a healthcare or similar environment
• Experience within a hospital/hotel environment together with some supervisory experience
• Good understanding of health & safety, COSHH, and cleaning standards
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team positively
• Reliable, organised, and able to manage workloads effectively
• Good attention to detail
• Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
