As a Process Engineer, you will provide day-to-day tactical direction, apply technical skills, maintain operations, and resolve routine issues to ensure safe, efficient, productive, and environmentally sound manufacture of active ingredients or intermediates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Making tactical decisions to achieve area performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity, reliability, and operability
• Coordinating with corporate and site production planners on production timing and raw material availability
• Developing and tracking key performance indicators
• Investigating plant performance issues and proposing sound technical solutions
• Serving as process expert and plant representative for design, construction, and implementation of investment projects
• Creating, maintaining, and developing standards for plant operating documentation
• Proposing designs and executing plant trials to enhance plant performance and optimization
• Compiling, formatting, and submitting environmental data for regulatory filings
• Promoting continued development of self and area personnel
• Supporting Site and Area Production System improvements

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering, or knowledge of BS/BA completed by August 2027. Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is preferred.

The Kiln Processes include rotary kiln for phosphate ore beneficiation, pollution control, settling ponds, and waste heat steam generation.

The HEG (Heavy Equipment Group) Processes include large mobile equipment such as Kress Pot carriers, CAT front end loaders, and haul trucks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar field
• Minimum 10 years of industrial manufacturing experience
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and exceptional technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to ensure effective compliance with environmental regulations and OSHA process safety management standard
• Experience with new plant design, construction, and start-up
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive change
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range: $104,080.00 - $156,120.00 per year
