Product Engineer

At Improbable, we build and scale ambitious AI and Web3 ventures shaping the next generation of the internet.

We're hiring for a venture building a next-generation blockchain for real-time, large-scale applications, designed to overcome the speed and cost limitations of traditional blockchain infrastructure. The technology is fast, cost-efficient and fully EVM-compatible, enabling developers, creators and communities to build immersive products with greater ownership and interoperability.

The team is building a high-performance decentralised exchange designed to give traders fast, reliable and fair execution.

The product is live. Now we need a Product Engineer to take it to the next level.

About the role

You will own the frontend product experience for the DEX, shaping how it looks, feels and performs for traders.

This is not a narrow frontend engineering role. You will have significant influence over product decisions, user experience and the direction of future products.

You may be a founding engineer, an early product engineer or someone who has helped build a trading product from the ground up.

What matters is that you have owned real product decisions, shipped complex systems and understand what traders expect from the products they use.

What you’ll do

Define and own the frontend product vision for the DEX.

Build fast, responsive and intuitive trading experiences.

Turn designs and product ideas into reliable, high-quality features.

Manage high-impact projects from early concept through to launch.

Make thoughtful decisions about architecture, performance and scalability.

Prototype quickly, validate ideas and strengthen the features that prove valuable.

Work closely with engineering, design and commercial teams to improve user and business outcomes.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience building or scaling a DEX, trading platform or trading product.

Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, React and Next.js.

A strong understanding of frontend performance, accessibility and user experience.

A product-builder mindset with strong ownership and self-direction.

The ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information.

Comfortable working with urgency in an early-stage, ambitious team.

About the role

We're hiring a Product Marketing Manager to shape how a decentralised exchange (DEX) shows up in the world.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands onchain trading and its audiences deeply, from alpha groups and trading communities to professional traders, and can turn that understanding into messaging that resonates with them. You'll work closely with Product and the Head of Marketing to shape positioning, growth and how the product is talked about in the market.

What you'll be doing

You'll shape the positioning, launches and market story that help the product stand out.

Own positioning and messaging across core audiences, including alpha groups, trading communities and professional traders

Craft a clear differentiation story grounded in the product's strengths as well as simplify a technical product narrative so it makes sense to both experienced traders and people coming onchain for the first time

Lead go-to-market activity for launches, product capabilities and ecosystem features, from brief through to post-launch measurement

Act as the team's expert on the onchain derivatives and trading landscape, including trends, trader insights and market takeaways

Turn market intelligence into positioning, product recommendations and growth tactics

Support adoption and retention through tactics such as community leaderboards, yield-based rebates and referral mechanics

What we're looking for

Solid experience in product marketing or a related role, including meaningful hands-on experience in Web3, consumer fintech or trading products

Experience with retail trading products or exchanges (DEX or CEX), and a genuine understanding of how order books and derivatives or perps work

A track record of leading product launches end to end, with measurable results

Proven ability to own positioning and messaging for a product or protocol and execute go-to-market campaigns across channels

Strong grasp of crypto-native culture and communities, including X, Discord and Web3 platforms

Highly analytical, comfortable defining and tracking growth, retention and adoption metrics

Comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership

AI Tutor - Humanities

SpaceXAI is seeking a skilled AI Humanities Specialist to enhance its models by providing high-quality data annotations and inputs tailored to humanities contexts.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in fields such as linguistics, history, classical studies, literature, poetry, philosophy, ethics, visual arts, and performing arts to support the training of Grok. You will evaluate model outputs and create training data so Grok reasons accurately, weighs evidence carefully, and communicates uncertainty honestly. This work is grounded in scholarly judgment, not creative writing.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate model outputs in your field for factual accuracy, logical coherence, fallacious reasoning, and hidden assumptions.

Flag confident-sounding errors, anachronism, misused sources, ideological slant, and claims that outrun the evidence.

Create exemplary responses and datasets that show intellectual honesty, careful source evaluation, and a clear distinction between primary evidence, secondary interpretation, and speculation.

Steel-man opposing views before criticizing them, and mark what is settled, contested, or unknown.

Ground annotations and reference answers in primary sources whenever they exist, then weigh secondary scholarship against that record.

Collaborate with engineering teams to design evaluation tasks, rubrics, and examples that test and strengthen Grok’s behaviour and personality in the humanities.

Help define what good model behaviour looks like in contested humanistic questions: precise, sourced, proportionately confident, and resistant to fashionable or motivated readings.

Basic Qualifications:

Deep knowledge in at least one of the following: linguistics, history, classical studies, literature, poetry, philosophy, ethics, visual arts, or performing arts.

Ability to assess arguments for validity, soundness, hidden premises, and category errors, not only for surface correctness.

Habitual reliance on primary sources, with skill at weighing them against secondary literature.

Ability to steel-man opposing views and separate settled knowledge from interpretation or speculation.

Excellent analytical writing in English: clear, precise, and calibrated to the strength of the evidence.

Comfort working from evolving instructions to produce annotations, critiques, and reference answers at a consistently high standard.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

PhD in one of the listed fields, or equivalent demonstrated scholarly depth.

Published analytical work, such as peer-reviewed articles, monographs, critical editions, catalog essays, or other rigorously sourced scholarship.

Experience in teaching, academic peer review, archival research, textual criticism, historiography, or formal argument analysis.

Range across more than one listed field, or across historically and culturally distinct canons within a field.

Familiarity with evaluating AI or LLM outputs, building benchmarks, or creating training data.

Public writing or lectures that make difficult humanistic material accurate without flattening it.

Location and Other Expectations:

Tutor roles may be offered as full-time, part-time, or contractor positions, depending on role needs and candidate fit.

For contractor positions, hours will vary widely based on project scope and contractor availability, with no fixed commitments required.

Tutor roles may be performed remotely from any location worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

US-based candidates: $35/hour - $75/hour depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.

Benefits vary based on employment type, location, and jurisdiction. Benefits for eligible U.S.-based positions include health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave.
