As a Construction Field Inspector (Intermediate to Senior), you will play a critical role in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance on site while working as part of a collaborative field team.

Your Impact

• Inspect construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance and workmanship across civil, geotechnical, and associated infrastructure scopes.
• Document field activities through daily reports, photos, deficiency tracking, and progress updates.
• Support health, safety, and environmental compliance on site, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, engineers, and client representatives to resolve field issues.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions to keep work moving safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to successful project delivery in a northern and logistically complex environment.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive construction inspection experience on large, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure construction practices.
• Experience working on active construction sites.
• Familiarity with quality control, inspection documentation, and deficiency management.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a field-based project team.
• Willingness to reside in Prince Rupert or work a 2-in / 2-out rotational schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet site safety requirements.

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500
• MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
• NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 – $92,900
