Responsibilities:

• Analyze SB/AD/PTA for applicability and material/manpower required to update the Maintenance Plan and plan the related incorporation on the fleet.
• Participate in routine coordination meetings with engineering to review Service Bulletins, ADs, and PTAs applicable to the Fleet.
• Collaborate with the Configuration Management group to review and update the Fleet Maintenance Plan.
• Elaborate Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker Fleet.
• Utilize technical expertise to assist the customer in achieving and sustaining a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the KC767A.
• Support the planning of Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plans for the Italy Tanker Fleet.
• Elaborate Vectors to communicate technical inquiries to Italy Tanker Fleet Support Engineering or Logistic Engineering.
• Assist the customer in interpreting and using Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs) and servicing and maintenance support procedures.
• Act as the on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and the on-site Boeing PDM Configuration Management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Existing rights to work in the European Union (EU).
• 10+ years of airline engineering experience in support of Continuing Airworthiness of the Fleet.
• Fluent in verbal and written Italian.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience and Person Specification:

• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and maintenance technical information (REDARS is a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiar with Boeing 767 aircraft AMM, IPC, and MTC.
• Familiarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as My Boeing Fleet and technical inquiry request systems (BCS, Vector).
• Experience with the KC-767 Tanker.

The KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy. This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division. The Site at Pratica di Mare is accredited as AER(EP).P-145 and UNI EN 9110:2018.

Responsibilities:

• Support schedule and unscheduled maintenance events as Quality Assurance
• Oversee maintenance tasks execution, verifying compliance with approved data (e.g., AMM, SBs, ADs) and procedures
• Manage and accurately complete technical documentation (Task Cards, Pick Up Cards, 8130, EASA Form One) in a timely manner to support the release of the aircraft to the operations on time and on quality
• Verify that required inspections are completed and any identified defects are corrected or properly deferred
• Ensure certification of tools, of test equipment and of personnel are current
• Execute RII inspections as mandated by the Maintenance Manuals
• Collaborate to maintain the Quality Assurance Operational Instructions and collaborate with the team to improve methods and procedures by analyzing data to identify root cause of problems
• Originate and/or participate in the release of Occurrence Reports as part of the Site Continuous Improvement Process
• Execute in-tank inspections and FOD check
• Support internal and external audits to maintain the Site Accreditations
• Work under general supervision
• Work in rotating shifts, 5 days a week from Monday to Saturday

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience on the flight line and/or base maintenance
• Fluent with verbal and written Italian
• Fluent in both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Available to be qualified for fuel tank entry
• EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License B1/B2 is a plus
• Licenses on Boeing aircraft types is a plus
• Understanding of Maintenance Plan Document, Aircraft Service Bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives’ and Service letters.
• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data
• Familiarity with Military Regulations EMAR 145 is a plus
• Experience with AS9110C Quality Management System would be preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request system, are a plus.
