Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution
• Ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues
• Leading the shrink agenda through your Ambient team, driving standards and inputs, and acting on opportunities with clear actions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment
• Operational knowledge of food or non-food departments
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service

As an Ambient Manager, you will also need to:

• Drive strategy into action by planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor
• Lead with impact by engaging and coaching your team to constantly improve routine and process
• Be results-focused, ensuring shopfloor and promotional activity is landed to brief and on time
• Develop talent by listening with empathy, driving resilience, and encouraging ownership and passion for the business
