The nurse will provide medical care and support to migrants arriving at the airport, including primary health care, psychosocial support, and referrals to specialized services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical consultations and support to migrants
• Conduct triage and identify vulnerable individuals
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors
• Manage medical supplies and equipment
• Promote health education and awareness
• Document nursing care and activities

Requirements:

• Mastery of French and Haitian Creole
• Desirable: knowledge of English and/or Spanish
• Ability to work in an emergency environment under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Sensitivity to protection and confidentiality issues

The consultant will work under the general supervision of the IOM's MPX unit head in Port-au-Prince and technical supervision of the IOM's doctor at the airport.

The contract is expected to last up to 11 months.
