The Infrastructure Delivery Manager will manage the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment. This manager will be responsible for a growing team and will oversee their development and growth. The successful candidate will have experience managing and mentoring people, tracking budgets, providing strategic direction, and proposing technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching, and creating documentation.
• Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages.
• Manage the installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Guide, train and educate staff on best practices related to all service owner issues.
• Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large-size projects.
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
• Provide weekly reports to the data center manager.
• Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, including emergency projects, change management, and maintenance window support.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Host weekly staff meetings.
• Drive compliance with Amazon performance management requirements.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of people management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a data center technology role and/or 4+ years of knowledge in TCP/IP networking, network cabling, fiber optic types, and test equipment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience in an IT-related field.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure topology.
• Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA).
• Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.
• Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment.

As a Data Center Engineering Technician, you'll perform hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. Responsibilities include maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting Data Center Operation's Mission Critical Facilities such as stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, PDUs, wet cell batteries, CRAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, pumps, and motors.

You will:

• Conduct daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA
• Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Provide technical writing support for the change management program
• Manage daily work requests and execute projects from conception to completion
• Offer on-site support for contractors, subcontractors, and vendors

The work schedule may change depending on specific site needs, with shifts up to 12 hours and potential rotation on a predefined schedule. The role may support more than one location/site.
