Responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
• Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
• Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognising great guest experience moments
• Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take actions to improve, and align team on the right behaviours and execution
• Lead the daily execution of tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organising the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for General Merchandise areas
• Collaborate with all teams and leaders to identify key priorities and ensure the store is guest ready
• Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team
• Responsible for the transportation, preparation, loading and unloading of product to and from an offsite storage location in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure all backroom offsite processes are executed properly, backroom offsite organisation and location accuracy are maintained, and supplies are in-stock and readily available

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
• Lead and hold others accountable
• Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Manage workload and prioritise tasks independently
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Effective communication skills
