eced8a73-306 Finance Director for Norway Local Operating Company (LOC) The role of Finance Director for Norway Local Operating Company (LOC) is an opportunity to join the Europe One Finance community and drive performance across our region.

In this role, you will act as the Commercial Finance lead for the LOC partnering with the GM and the Leadership team to deliver targeted revenues of c. £200m with year-on-year growth and external competitiveness.

Your mission is to be a true business partner, providing a strong voice in challenging and influencing decision-making.

Responsibilities

Driving Brand Performance

  • Full understanding and accountability for the Norwegian LOC P&L and headcount, acting as a core member of the Leadership team.
  • Lead cross-functional monthly performance reviews (MPR) and perform variance analysis of business unit results.
  • Lead strategic portfolio and brand analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Drive the annual budget setting process for the cross-functional therapy area team.

Financial Forecasting & Reporting

  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, and insights teams to deliver monthly DRMs, annual plans, and soft-landing estimates.
  • Support launch forecasts for pipeline opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial analysis at month-end.

Pricing Optimization & Market Dynamics

  • Partner with Market Access and other experts to support pricing approval governance.
  • Understand overall market dynamics, relative market positioning of products, and future trends.

Investment & Growth Opportunities

  • Model investment and growth opportunities to support decision-making.
  • Lead scenario planning to maximize resource use.
  • Deliver margin enhancement initiatives through innovative cost control.

Project Management & External Coordination

  • Work on ad hoc projects, supporting the GMs and leadership team.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and business modelling.
  • Act as the point of contact for finance to key external strategic partners.

Requirements

  • Finance or business degree and/or Professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in financial roles and business partnering.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in financial modelling, scenario planning, and investment appraisal.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
