As a Bank Chef, you will prepare and serve varied, nutritious meals for the people staying at Life Works House. You will cater for individual dietary needs and preferences, maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and help manage stock and minimise waste.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving meals

• Taking responsibility for running the kitchen during your shift and directing catering colleagues when covering the Head Chef

Requirements:

• Experience working in a professional kitchen and preparing meals for groups
• A food hygiene qualification and NVQ Level 2 in catering, or an equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge of food safety and allergens
• The ability to work independently, organise a busy shift and communicate well with colleagues
• A thoughtful approach to individual dietary and nutritional needs
