Responsibilities:

• Maintain a current, prioritised risk register for your BU, weighing compensating controls and distinguishing top risks from lower priorities.
• Engage deeply with your BU's architecture, leading security design reviews and threat models, and advocating well-reasoned security positions.
• Provide your BU with the right security expertise and represent the BU's voice in security forums.
• Drive risk remediation plans and bug closure to completion, sequencing high-impact work first and establishing clear ownership and accountability.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or a closely related discipline within a large, complex enterprise or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., COSO, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53).
• Sharp, defensible technical point of view, with ability to back positions with specifics and prioritise risk with clarity and conviction.
• Clear communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to build trust with cross-functional and remote stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent certification.
• Hands-on fluency with AI/ML security considerations, agentic architectures, or cloud identity systems.
• Prior experience integrating acquired entities or working in a regulated industry.
• Experience working with a BISO-type role.

Salary Range: $117,200 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $141,200 - $285,800 annually.
