You will manage four integrated workstreams: deploying AI tools to enhance editorial workflows; building content creator resilience against synthetic media threats; providing legal safeguards against risks arising from publicly publishing information; and developing AI infrastructure.

You will also manage delivery partners, oversee workshop delivery across at least three countries, and ensure cost-efficient logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex international programmes
• Manage and develop a Senior Project Coordinator
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, consultants, and stakeholders
• Establish and maintain effective project governance
• Build and manage strategic partnerships
• Lead programme monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting activities
• Provide strategic oversight of programme risks and stakeholder engagement
• Represent the Foundation externally and travel internationally as required

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstratable experience of outstanding project and/or programme management (5+ years)
• Experience of project delivery at pace and to a high standard
• Experience of working with content creators, young journalists and or in the AI and media intersection
• Experience of working in close partnership arrangements
• Experience of managing disbursed project teams and technical consultants
• Experience in monitoring and evaluating the impact of projects
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with changing priorities and time pressures
• Ability to manage remote and disbursed partnerships responsibly
• Pro-active and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to apply context-sensitive approaches to design and implementation of activities
• Excellent grant financial acumen and excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver at pace
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of leading projects focused on AI and Tech or the AI-Media nexus
• Experience in the media development sector in Kenya, Nigeria or Zambia
