The successful candidates will work on the assessment, design, rehabilitation, and upgrading of emergency evacuation centres and the establishment of containerized emergency warehouses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting technical and feasibility assessments of buildings and infrastructure
• Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including engineering assessments and detailed designs
• Supporting the planning, implementation, and technical oversight of construction activities
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and disaster-resilient engineering principles
• Collaborating with government counterparts, contractors, and local stakeholders

Requirements:

• Master's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field
• Two years of relevant professional experience
• Certification as a licensed professional engineer
• Experience in construction engineering and contract management
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience with AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software

The consultancy contract will last for 11 months, with the possibility of extension.
