As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring patient safety
• Maintaining pharmacy professional practice
• Meeting regulatory requirements
• Quality assurance
• Providing excellent customer service
• Managing inventory
• Workflow management, excluding final prescription verification

Additionally, you will:

• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes
• Align others around the company's purpose
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Physical demands include lifting, scanning, and bagging items, finger dexterity, reaching overhead, and stooping

Preferred qualifications:

• Immunization eligibility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
