Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing monthly profit and loss and balance sheet analysis for each country
• Ensuring balance sheets are adequately controlled
• Performing monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciling items
• Providing deal support and working with Sales, Service Excellence teams, and Portfolio Management teams on deals
• Investigating and rectifying errors/omissions in contracts/accounts
• Preparing local GAAP accounts and audits
• Providing financial information to tax teams
• Performing accounting and analysis activities that require significant judgement and technical skills
• Supporting internal audits, SOX audits, and tax audits
• Assisting with interim and year-end close external audits
• Updating Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) models and monthly reserve templates
• Reporting on Operational Risk
• Leading or providing expertise to cross-functional project teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• A qualification as an accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
• Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst
• Experience in more than one finance function
• Excellent analytical skills and Windows application skills, particularly Excel
• Additional business application skills in Business Objects and Power BI would be beneficial
• Experience using AI technology such as Chat GPT and MS Copilot
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Strong business acumen and project management skills
