As a Terminal Operations Coordinator, you will be involved in supporting the management and coordination of all terminal-related operations to ensure delivery of product to customers.

The role is based at our Kurnell Terminal and operates on a rotating roster across both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of shipping discharge operations and inventory management.
• Coordinate and support safe and efficient terminal operations, including product movements, tank farm operations, and pipeline transfers.
• Oversee the operational performance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of terminal SCADA and DCS control systems.
• Coordination, permitting, and supervision of terminal-related projects and maintenance activities.
• Achieve Incident and Injury Free performance.
• Ensure that the facility operates in a safe and reliable manner.
• Support strategic and key infrastructure projects.
• Deliver high levels of service to internal and external customers.
• Meet all Ampol and other legislative requirements.
• Ensure cost-effective management of assets and expenditure.
• Support stock replenishment shipping operations.

About you: You bring a positive, can-do attitude, with previous experience in oil & gas or other hazardous environments considered highly advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in the petroleum industry or hazardous facility.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Good sound knowledge of relevant industry and safety standards.
• Strong planning and organising skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-focused with experience in safe operation of a hazardous facility.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to commit to a rotating roster.
