88512039-ec1 Database and Application Support Associate – ACDMS Under the overall supervision of the National Information Management and Database Officer – ACDMS and the direct supervision of the Senior Database and Software Developer Associate – ACDMS, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation, testing, maintenance, documentation and user support of the Afghanistan Centralised Database Management System (ACDMS).

ACDMS is a Country Office (CO)-wide institutional data management initiative intended to provide a centrally governed, secure, scalable and interoperable platform supporting beneficiary and service records, programme and project management, document management, referrals and case management, needs and assessments, monitoring and evaluation, audit functions, reporting and analysis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the configuration, maintenance and routine enhancement of ACDMS applications and databases
  • Assisting with data import, migration, validation and quality-control activities
  • Conducting assigned system testing activities, including functional, integration and user acceptance testing
  • Providing first-line support to ACDMS users
  • Maintaining technical documentation, user guides, issue logs, test records and configuration inventories
  • Supporting user account administration and access management processes

You will work closely with the ACDMS technical team, programme information management focal points, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and other relevant units.
