Responsibilities:

• Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft coating and associated equipment of varying difficulty
• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting user documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals
• Uses system theory to troubleshoot various systems
• Working knowledge of technical publications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with F-22 Low Observable Coatings
• Experience with Low observable processes
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears
• Willingness to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience repairing and servicing military fighter aircraft F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience drilling, cutting, and fabricating aircraft structural components
