The successful candidate will have relevant experience as a highways or structures inspector on major transport infrastructure schemes, and extensive experience in supervising contractors' activities and monitoring compliance with the contract scope.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the NEC Supervisor in fulfilling their duties related to the construction of the Scheme
• Supervising contractors' activities and monitoring compliance with the contract scope
• Identifying and recording contractors' compliance with the works information
• Notifying defects or Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and overseeing correction of such defects or NCRs
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all site activities
• Having thorough knowledge and understanding of the Specification for Highways Works
• Being competent with ITS systems and able to learn relevant software needed to perform the role
