Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Build and Improve Platform Engineering</strong></p>\n<p>You will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and promote DevOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering practices across the Data Platform capability.</li>\n<li>Develop reusable automation, CI/CD pipelines, engineering templates, and self-service tooling that help teams move faster.</li>\n<li>Improve platform onboarding and delivery through Infrastructure as Code, automation, and standard patterns.</li>\n<li>Reduce operational complexity by replacing manual processes with repeatable engineering practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Strengthen Reliability, Security, and Compliance</strong></p>\n<p>You will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve monitoring, observability, alerting, operational visibility, and service health across platform services.</li>\n<li>Ensure AWS services and platform components align with standards and controls defined by Central Cloud Engineering and Cyber Security teams.</li>\n<li>Identify, prioritise, and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities, cloud configuration findings, compliance gaps, and operational risks.</li>\n<li>Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities that strengthen platform resilience.</li>\n<li>Maintain operational documentation, controls, and evidence required for audit and compliance reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Enable Faster Delivery</strong></p>\n<p>You will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with Architects and Engineering teams to implement approved designs using standardised tooling and deployment practices.</li>\n<li>Coordinate release readiness, environments, and operational support for new platform capabilities.</li>\n<li>Support onboarding of services and data integrations into Corporate Data Cloud.</li>\n<li>Use operational metrics and engineering insights to reduce deployment risk, lead time, recurring incidents, and technical debt.</li>\n<li>Explore AI-assisted operations, automation, and operational intelligence capabilities that improve service health and engineer productivity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Lead and Partner</strong></p>\n<p>You will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coach and support engineers across DevOps and Platform Engineering disciplines.</li>\n<li>Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Central Cloud Engineering, Cyber Security, and delivery teams to resolve dependencies and achieve shared outcomes.</li>\n<li>Represent Data Platforms within operational governance, cloud compliance reviews, and engineering forums.</li>\n<li>Communicate platform health, risks, vulnerabilities, and delivery progress clearly to stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and practical engineering standards across the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related technology disciplines.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting enterprise Data, Analytics, or Cloud platforms in production environments.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, configuration management, and release engineering practices.</li>\n<li>Practical experience with AWS and modern Data Platform technologies such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent cloud-based solutions.</li>\n<li>Experience implementing cloud engineering standards and remediating security vulnerabilities, compliance findings, and operational risks.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of monitoring, observability, incident management, problem management, and service reliability practices.</li>\n<li>Understanding of cloud security controls, operational risk management, audit requirements, and IT service management principles.</li>\n<li>Experience leading technical work and collaborating across matrixed delivery teams.</li>\n<li>Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>\n<li>Experience working within regulated or operationally complex environments is advantageous.</li>\n<li>A degree in Computer
