The successful candidate will serve the needs of site operations, advising and assisting centre users to maximise segregation and recycling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to members of the public and other site users
• Preventing commercial waste and non-compliant waste from entering the site
• Operating the booking system on the six booking sites
• Offering information to members of the public to assist the efficiency of the disposal of their waste
• Assisting in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site
• Ensuring that waste brought onto the site is segregated as much as possible for recycling

Requirements:

• Customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work to own initiative
• Record keeping
• Dealing with difficult situations
