As a Target Security Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for guests
• Promoting a physical security culture by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store
• Responding to and documenting security incidents in a timely manner
• Using de-escalation tactics and resources when responding to security incidents
• Conducting merchandise theft recoveries and providing theft apprehension support as needed
• Preventing theft and shortage at the front of store by performing merchandise receipt checks
• Submitting documentation in the case management system for all incidents
• Understanding and using Target's video surveillance system
• Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
