2d8a61c1-8db Derivative Trading Operations Specialist The Derivative Trading Operations team at HKEX operates the region's premier derivative markets with expanding global reach. Our team comprises highly trained individuals with deep knowledge of financial markets and rules and regulations that protect market integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new business initiatives, product launches, system enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Analyse technical and operational system requirements and prepare testing documentation.
  • Execute testing cycles, verify test results, and document outcomes.
  • Participate in issue investigation, defect tracking, and resolution follow-up.
  • Work closely with cross-functional testing teams to validate end-to-end system readiness.
  • Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving testing conflicts and dependencies.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge of derivatives products and market practices is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required; knowledge of testing tools, Power BI, SQL, VBA, Python, or other automation tools is an advantage.
