Responsibilities:

• Execute daily nominee services operations in compliance with clearing house rules, procedures, and internal policies
• Review and validate work performed by junior staff, including issuer announcement reviews and end-to-end processing of corporate actions
• Oversee the full lifecycle of corporate events, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Recommend and implement operational process enhancements to improve efficiency, control, and service quality
• Support automation and process reengineering initiatives to reduce manual processing and operational risk
• Identify exceptions and contingency situations in a timely manner and escalate issues to management as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in reputable financial institutions
• Solid knowledge of asset servicing and nominee/custodial operations across equities, debt securities, and derivatives in Hong Kong and global markets
• Familiarity with International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs) such as Euroclear and Clearstream is highly desirable
• Strong team player with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese word processing
• Knowledge of Macros and VBA is an advantage
