Requirements:

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in a transport, traffic dispatch, logistics or fleet coordination role is desirable
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to plan and coordinate daily vehicle routes and driver schedules
• Strong communication skills when dealing with drivers, depot managers, customers and other departments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
• Good problem-solving skills to deal with delays, vehicle breakdowns and operational issues
• Understanding of health and safety procedures and transport compliance
• Ability to work as part of a team and support the smooth running of daily operations
