As a licensed professional caregiver, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients.

Scope Staff RNs are pivotal members of the care delivery team headed by the physician and have specialised knowledge, skills, and ability pertinent to ambulatory care patient needs.

Job Essentials

• Perform assessments of physical, social, and psychological status
• Develop individualised plans of care in collaboration with patients and families
• Direct the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination, and collaboration
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise plans of care as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• Current RN License in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Practice-specific certification as required by the clinical setting
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Greater than 1 year of licensed RN experience

Physical Requirements

• Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
• Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require verbal communication, hearing, and understanding
• Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
• Expected to lift and utilise full range of movement to transfer patients, bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
• Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
