As a Global Logistics Operations - Customs & Compliance Manager, you will apply advanced Customs Operations and Compliance knowledge to solve complex business issues and be regarded as a subject matter expert. You will frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods, work on complex problems, and lead or provide expertise to functional project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end customs broker operations across Vietnam, ensuring seamless and legally compliant clearance for all imports and exports
• Monitoring, reviewing, and executing all regulatory activities, leading internal and external audits to maintain fully compliant and zero-penalty operations
• Leading broker performance management reviews, establishing strict performance metrics (KPIs), and enforcing regional vendor governance
• Proactively auditing and resolving import duty/tax or customs invoice discrepancies while leading strategic revenue optimization initiatives
• Securing and maintaining critical import/export licenses and leading local Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification initiatives

Requirements:

• First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred
• Typically 6-15 years of experience in a Customs Operations and Compliance function
• Broker's license and/or additional experience in a logistics/global trade function though not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Drive efficiency, automation, and expansion of processes, capabilities, and efficiencies of DOF and/or HUB site(s)
• Explore, propose, and drive synergies across functions, sites, and CMs in support of Customer Experience in delivering Perfect Orders
• Manage, analyze, and report delivery performance metrics associated with Global Order Scheduling
• Lead Daily On-site Production meetings, driving actions and root cause analysis associated with at-risk and missed Customer commitments

• Execute necessary transactional tasks associated with Sales & Purchase Orders required to fulfill Customer and Internal demand
• Partner with Juniper Supply Chain Managers on key process, policies, and capability transformation needed to support growth, scale, and efficiency of shared processes in managing fulfillment in service to a positive Customer Experience
• Provide DOF Planning back-up support of all global DOF and HUB sites as required
• Support Qtr-end activities related to achieving revenue attainment goals
• Manage TL9000 Process maps and manage CM's corrective action as required
• Ensure all TL9000 documents are filed/retained

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 6+ years of production planning experience, preferably in an enterprise manufacturing environment
• 3+ years Program/Project Management experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Full professional proficiency in English and Vietnamese language, would be advantageous if could speak Mandarin
• Successful track record of leading change at a systemic level
• Experience with ERP tools (SAP, Oracle)
• Experience and good skills in Macros
• Proficiency with collaboration suite of products, specifically MS Office 365 & Google
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
