Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring our stores feel safe and secure for employees and customers alike
• Building strong relationships with store teams and local police
• Identifying high-risk areas and acting as a deterrent on the shop floor
• Collaborating with store management to uphold company loss prevention standards
• Performing additional duties such as out-of-hours surveillance, loss prevention audits, and providing support at other stores

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous security experience in a retail environment (preferred)
• Flexibility to work across different stores and shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Ability to travel to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable distance from your home
• Strong commitment to ensuring the safety of store teams and customers
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivation and initiative
• Effective communication skills to build relationships with various stakeholders
