Responsibilities:

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:
• Greet guests, smile, make eye contact, or wave
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience

• Support total store sales, guest service and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock and available to our guests by preventing and resolving theft
• Resolve theft by using good judgement and conducting apprehensions in shortage focus areas while strictly adhering to AP policies and procedures
• Identify theft trends by leveraging technology, reporting and surveillance tactics
• Prevent theft by gathering intelligence and communicating important issues
• Understand and appropriately use video systems to monitor theft activity
• Respond to security incidents and submit appropriate documentation for all incidents following AP policy and procedures
• Promote a physical security and safety culture for our team members and guests by creating awareness and training safe and secure standards throughout the building
• Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible
• Maintain positive work relationships with public safety officials and law enforcement

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

Physical Demands:

• Climb up and down ladders
• Apprehend subjects in accordance with company policy
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds without additional assistance from others
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
• Although the role is full-time, it does not come with a guarantee of 40 hours each week. Hours will depend on the needs of the business and may fluctuate as required
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)

As a Property Management Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying and safely executing preventive and corrective maintenance on all building assets and equipment
• Completing work within compliance standards and Target guidelines
• Working with vendors and influencing timely completion of their work
• Influencing store team to ensure project work aligns with PM priorities and financial goals
• Working with Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical equipment
• Understanding repair versus replace and managing cost

A typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

• Consistently delivering guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
• Ensuring every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
• Actively observing and providing feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
• Reviewing area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, taking action to improve, and aligning team on the right behaviors and execution
• Utilizing technology to create, troubleshoot, prioritize, and safely complete work orders
• Performing preventive maintenance on building assets and equipment
• Following appropriate safety procedures and training, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe work environment
• Teaching and training store team to follow safety procedures
• Identifying and performing corrective maintenance on building assets
• Informing and engaging the store leadership team on property management workload priorities
• Leading and demonstrating a culture of executing all best practices
• Evaluating store brand and ensuring assets and vendor performance meets maintenance and functionality standards
• Assisting in executing special projects, remodels and supporting PM assets and service strategies

• Has 1+ year of technical education preferred in some of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC or plumbing and/or experience working in any of the following areas: basic door repair, HVAC filter changing, carpentry, power equipment/mechanical repair and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Has basic technical skills and general experience working with property assets
• Is proficient in operating power tools, HVAC, wet/dry vacuum and other powered equipment
• Has strong skills in managing vendor relationships, ensuring accountability, and achieving quality service results
• Has effective communication skills and the ability to use technology and multiple communication devices
• Can manage workload and prioritize tasks independently and provide support to store team
• Can remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
