Security Engineer - Incident Response

Compensation

$230K – $360K

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

About the Role

We're looking for a Security Engineer with deep incident response experience to help defend Replit, a fast-moving, cloud-native AI vibe-coding platform. You will be the person who takes charge when something goes wrong. You will lead investigations from first signal to root cause, coordinate containment across Security, SRE, and Engineering, and keep stakeholders informed while the incident is moving fast.

This isn't a pure responder role. We want a well-rounded security engineer who has run real incidents and wants to make the next one faster. You will write the scripts, automations, and tooling that take manual work out of triage, evidence collection, and containment. You will also turn lessons from each incident into better detections, playbooks, and platform hardening.

Responsibilities

Incident Response

Serve as incident commander or technical lead for security incidents, from detection and triage through containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.

Coordinate response across Security, SRE, Engineering, Legal, and leadership. Drive decisions under pressure and keep a clear record of actions taken.

Communicate incident status, impact, and risk clearly to technical and executive audiences.

Participate in and help shape the security on-call rotation.

Investigation & Forensics

Investigate suspicious activity across cloud infrastructure, containers, identity systems, and application layers using SIEM, Cloud Logging, telemetry, and host and container artifacts.

Determine scope, root cause, attacker behavior, and blast radius for confirmed incidents.

Quickly assess whether emerging threats (0-days, active exploitation campaigns, bug bounty findings, customer reports) apply to Replit, and whether we're already affected.

IR Automation & Tooling

Build scripts, automations, and tools (Python, Go, Bash, or directly on Replit) that speed up response, such as automated enrichment, evidence collection, credential and session revocation, workload isolation, and alert triage.

Develop and maintain response playbooks and runbooks, and automate them where possible.

Integrate response workflows with SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, and chat tooling to cut time-to-contain.

Detection & Continuous Improvement

Turn incident findings into new or improved detections, logging coverage, and visibility.

Lead blameless post-incident reviews and drive remediation items to completion.

Run tabletop exercises and simulations to test readiness and find gaps.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading or serving as technical lead on security incidents in a cloud or SaaS environment.

Strong hands-on investigation skills with SIEM, cloud audit logs, and log-based analysis. Comfortable working through large datasets under time pressure.

Proficiency writing production-quality scripts or tools in Python, Go, or Bash for investigation and automation.

Solid knowledge of cloud architecture and security, especially Google Cloud Platform (IAM, audit logging, GKE, networking).

Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containers, including how to investigate and contain compromised workloads.

Understanding of identity systems, SaaS architectures, and common cloud attack paths (credential theft, privilege escalation, supply chain, token abuse).

Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and package ecosystems, so you can work effectively with Engineering on code-level fixes.

Understanding of IR frameworks and lifecycle (for example NIST 800-61), plus the vulnerability lifecycle and exploitability analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building or operating SOAR or other response automation platforms.

Digital forensics experience with cloud, Linux hosts, or containers.

Experience with threat intelligence, threat hunting, or security research.

Experience with bug bounty programs or coordinated vulnerability disclosure.

Familiarity with detection-as-code practices and writing detection rules.

Experience in fast-paced, cloud-native, or AI/ML-driven environments.

Relevant certifications (such as GCIH, GCFA, GCFR), or equivalent hands-on experience.

What We Value

Curiosity & initiative: Strong desire to understand attacker behaviors, emerging threats, and how they apply to real-world systems.

Speed & analytical rigor: Ability to quickly assess high-risk vulnerabilities with clear, evidence-based reasoning.

Collaboration: Comfort working across cross-functional teams spanning Security, SRE, Engineering, and Infrastructure.

Clear communication: Ability to explain findings, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels.

Ownership mindset: Takes initiative to drive investigations, improvements, and remediations to completion.

Continuous learning: Passion for staying up to date on new vulnerabilities, exploit trends, and cloud-native security best practices.

Full-Time Employee Benefits Include:

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match (US Only)

Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Ads

Compensation

$250K – $360K • Offers Equity

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

About the role:

Help turn “I built a business” into “I have customers.” As a Staff Software Engineer on Replit’s Money team, you’ll help shape Agentic Ads: an emerging area focused on using AI to make customer acquisition more accessible to businesses built on Replit.

This role focuses on intelligent, advertiser-facing software, not ad-serving infrastructure, an ad exchange, or a real-time bidding engine. You’ll tackle problems at the intersection of AI, business growth, measurement, and trustworthy automation, turning complex decisions into clear, useful experiences.

You’ll help define a new product area, working closely with product, design, and engineering to discover customer needs and deliver practical solutions. This is a hands-on Staff role: you’ll own architecture, lead delivery across teams, mentor engineers, and turn an ambitious vision into incremental customer value.

You will:

Set technical direction for Agentic Ads, translating customer needs into an architecture and roadmap that balance rapid learning with long-term reliability.

Build agent-powered experiences that help businesses make informed growth decisions, translating user goals into understandable recommendations and appropriately authorized actions.

Design extensible integrations with external services, using well-defined APIs and abstractions that accommodate changing provider capabilities and requirements.

Partner with product and data teams to establish reliable measurement, connect product activity to business outcomes, and address data quality, delayed feedback, and uncertainty.

Develop intelligent automation that learns from performance signals and helps users improve outcomes within their goals and constraints.

Make financial control a product requirement: scoped authorization, explicit approvals, budget limits, auditable decisions, clear reporting, and reliable pause controls. Distinguish recommendations from actions that commit customer spend.

Make cross-platform workflows reliable with durable state, idempotency, safe retries, reconciliation, observability, and recovery from partial failures, expired credentials, rate limits, and provider API changes.

Establish agent evaluations and production monitoring for plan quality, tool selection, policy compliance, spend safety, and verified execution. Partner on experiments that distinguish attributed results from incremental customer value.

Lead ambiguous initiatives across product, design, AI, data, security, and partnerships. Stay hands-on with implementation, define incremental milestones, mentor engineers, and own the quality and operation of what the team ships.

Required skills and experience:

A track record of Staff-level technical leadership on complex customer-facing products or platforms: setting direction, resolving ambiguity, and delivering through launch and production operation across multiple teams.

Strong hands-on software engineering and system design skills across APIs, data modeling, distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, and customer-facing product experiences.

Experience building and operating third-party integrations that remain correct under duplicate requests, partial failures, rate limits, changing schemas, and inconsistent external state.

Practical experience shipping LLM-powered products or agentic workflows, including tool use, orchestration, evaluations, and safeguards for actions taken against external systems.

Strong data and measurement judgment: experience using instrumentation and experiments to evaluate product outcomes, and the ability to reason about noisy data, delayed feedback, uncertainty, and correlation versus causation.

Sound judgment around systems that act on a user’s behalf, including authentication, authorization, sensitive data, approval boundaries, and limits on consequential actions.

Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams, explain technical trade-offs, mentor engineers, and drive execution without relying on reporting authority.

A product-minded approach to simplifying complex workflows for non-experts, with hands-on ownership from prototype through reliable production operation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building advertiser-facing products, marketing automation, campaign-management tools, growth platforms, or software that helps businesses acquire customers.

Experience integrating advertising or marketing APIs; familiarity with account onboarding, campaign lifecycles, and platform requirements.

Working knowledge of conversion tracking, attribution, customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, budget pacing, and the limits of optimizing with low conversion volume.

Experience with experimentation, incrementality measurement, constrained optimization, recommendation systems, or decision-making under uncertainty.

Experience building permissioned, multi-tenant products with approval workflows, budget controls, audit trails, and privacy-aware handling of customer and conversion data.

Bonus Points:

Experience with agent tooling, durable workflow execution, delegated authorization, or evaluation frameworks for agents that take consequential actions.

Experience connecting application events or server-side conversion signals to advertising platforms, or integrating creative generation and landing-page experimentation into growth workflows.

Experience building for small businesses or first-time advertisers, where clear guidance, limited budgets, and sparse data shape the product.

These are additional strengths, not a checklist. Experience with every ad platform is not expected; ad-serving infrastructure experience and an ML research background are not prerequisites.

What we value:

Customer outcomes: success means helping a business acquire qualified leads and customers, not merely connecting an account, launching a campaign, or increasing spend.

User control and trust: agents explain recommendations, act within explicit authority, and make budgets, costs, and consequential changes understandable.

Evidence over activity: we validate measurement, acknowledge uncertainty, and test whether a change improves business outcomes rather than treating attribution as proof of causality.

End-to-end ownership: we own the journey from a business goal through campaign execution, measurement, and ongoing improvement.

Pragmatic technical leadership: we build on existing ad platforms, ship focused increments, and invest in correctness and extensibility where they matter.

Clear collaboration: we document decisions, surface risks early, and help other teams and partners succeed.

Full-Time Employee Benefits Include:

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match (US Only)

Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance

Engineering Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

We're hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Cloud Infrastructure: the shared infrastructure as code (IaC), networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms that Replit's product and platform teams depend on. You'll lead and grow an existing engineering team building and operating these foundations, including Kubernetes, shared edge networking, service mesh and workload identity.

Responsibilities

Own the cloud-platform roadmap. Lead the team's IaC, networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms. Translate product, platform, reliability, and security needs into sequenced outcomes, balancing foundational investment, lifecycle work, and delivery commitments against the team's capacity.

Make infrastructure repeatable and self-service. Build maintained IaC interfaces for services, cells, connectivity, identities, and shared resources. Enable internal customer teams to provision infrastructure without bespoke coordination or dependence on individual experts.

Operate what the team builds. Own platform availability, upgrades, isolation, recovery, and incident remediation. Maintain clear SLOs, sustainable on-call coverage, and primary and backup owners for critical systems.

Stay technically engaged. Review designs and production changes, debug difficult failure modes, and use AI coding tools, including Replit,to prototype and automate. Apply rigorous review and verification to AI-generated infrastructure changes.

Build and grow a high-ownership engineering team. Coach engineers, develop technical leaders, set clear expectations, manage performance, and hire against agreed needs. Delegate meaningful ownership as the team grows.

Requirements

Demonstrated engineering management. You have led and developed engineers, made prioritization and performance decisions, hired thoughtfully, and delivered through a team, not only acted as its strongest individual contributor.

Software-oriented infrastructure depth. You have built and operated cloud platforms or distributed systems and can reason across infrastructure code, Kubernetes, networking, service identity, and stateful dependencies.

Safe-change and production judgment. You have owned consequential migrations and incidents, can explain failure modes and rollback limits, and know when simplifying a system is better than adding another platform.

Platform-product and engineering judgment. You understand internal customers, create interfaces other teams adopt, and make clear tradeoffs among reliability, developer autonomy, engineering effort, and workload efficiency.

Nice to Have

Experience with multi-tenant, cellular, regional, or dedicated enterprise infrastructure.

Familiarity with GCP/GKE, Terraform or similar IaC systems, Cloudflare, Envoy/Istio, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and managed data services.

Experience with large-fleet rightsizing, infrastructure consolidation, or migrating CI compute without disrupting developer workflows.

A track record using AI tools to increase engineering output while preserving production safeguards.

Benefits

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match (US Only)

Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance

Short Term and Long Term Disability

Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Commerce & Payments

Compensation

$290K – $360K • Offers Equity

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

Make Replit the single place where businesses can buy everything they need through their agents. As a Staff Software Engineer on Replit’s Money team, you’ll set technical direction and build the commerce platform that lets users discover, evaluate, purchase, and manage the products and services they need to build and run their businesses, without leaving Replit.

Replit already enables businesses to accept payments through integrations such as Stripe. This role builds on that foundation to expand what businesses can buy and accomplish through Replit Agent. You’ll design commerce experiences that combine the simplicity consumers expect with the controls enterprises need, making agent-assisted purchasing useful, trustworthy, and reliable.

You’ll own architecture and lead cross-team delivery across merchant and service-provider integrations, agent tools, purchasing workflows, and the lifecycle after a transaction. The challenge goes beyond executing a payment: agents need to understand what a user wants, present clear choices and costs, act within delegated authority, and verify that the purchase delivered the intended outcome. You’ll stay hands-on with design and code while aligning partners, mentoring engineers, and turning an ambitious product vision into incremental customer value.

Set the architecture and technical roadmap for agentic commerce, making Replit a single place to discover, buy, and manage the products and services businesses need.

You will:

Lead end-to-end purchasing experiences through Replit Agent: translate user intent into relevant options, communicate prices and terms, obtain appropriate authorization, execute purchases, and confirm fulfillment or provisioning.

Build extensible integrations with merchants, software vendors, and service providers so the platform can expand its commerce offering without rebuilding each workflow from scratch.

Build on existing Stripe and payments capabilities, extending payment integrations where needed to support new purchasing experiences rather than treating basic payment acceptance as a greenfield problem.

Design agent-facing APIs and tools with clear contracts, secure credentials, scoped permissions, spending limits, and appropriate confirmation for consequential actions.

Partner with product and security to support enterprise purchasing requirements such as role-based access, approval workflows, purchasing policies, and auditable transaction histories, while keeping simpler purchases easy.

Own the purchase lifecycle beyond checkout: provisioning and access, order and subscription state, receipts, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and reconciliation across providers.

Make agent-driven transactions reliable with idempotency, verified events, durable state, safe retries, and recovery from partial failures; evaluate whether workflows complete the authorized task without duplicate purchases or unintended spend.

Lead ambiguous initiatives across teams, define incremental milestones, stay hands-on with implementation, and raise the engineering bar through mentoring, design reviews, and production ownership.

Required skills and experience:

A track record of Staff-level technical leadership on complex customer-facing products or platforms, taking ambiguous initiatives from architecture through launch and production operation across multiple teams.

Strong hands-on engineering and system design skills, including API design, data modeling, distributed workflows, and thoughtful evolution of existing systems.

Experience building extensible third-party integrations and handling asynchronous events, duplicate requests, partial failures, and changing provider capabilities.

Strong product judgment: you can turn complex, multi-step workflows into simple user experiences and balance rapid delivery with correctness and long-term flexibility.

A security-conscious approach to authentication, authorization, credentials, sensitive data, and actions performed on a user’s or organization’s behalf.

Demonstrated ability to align engineering and cross-functional partners on technical direction, document decisions clearly, and drive execution without relying on reporting authority.

Experience mentoring engineers and improving the quality of architecture, implementation, and operations beyond your own projects.

Comfort using AI-assisted development tools while taking responsibility for the correctness, security, and maintainability of the code you ship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building commerce platforms, marketplaces, purchasing or procurement systems, or products that connect buyers with multiple vendors.

Experience with agent tool calling, multi-step agent workflows, or evaluations for reliable execution of actions against external systems.

Familiarity with payment and purchase lifecycles, including authorization, checkout, subscriptions, fulfillment or provisioning, refunds, and reconciliation.

Experience building enterprise capabilities such as approval workflows, role-based access, purchasing policies, budget controls, or audit trails.

Experience with Stripe or other payment providers, developer platforms, or partner integration ecosystems.

Bonus Points:

Experience with emerging agentic-commerce protocols, MCP, or delegated authorization for agent-initiated transactions.

Experience integrating software and service catalogs, pricing and availability, entitlements, or automated provisioning.

Familiarity with recurring and usage-based costs, renewal management, international purchasing, or multi-provider transaction workflows.

These are additional strengths, not a checklist; prior experience spanning every commerce domain or payment provider is not expected.

What we value:

Customer outcomes: success means a business can get what it needs through its agent, with clear costs and a verified result, not merely a completed API call.

User control and trust: agents act within explicit authority, surface consequential choices, and make purchases and ongoing commitments understandable.

Consumer simplicity and enterprise readiness: straightforward experiences should coexist with the controls organizations need.

End-to-end ownership: we own the experience from intent through purchase, fulfillment, and ongoing management.

Pragmatic technical leadership: we build on what exists, deliver incremental value, and invest in correctness and extensibility where they matter.

Product Partnerships Manager, Consumer/SMB

Compensation

The base salary for this role ranges from $200K – $240K.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

About the role:

We're hiring a Product Partnerships Manager to own Replit's most important strategic partnerships end-to-end: from identifying the opportunity to shipping the outcome and measuring the impact.

This is a product-focused role where you will work with our consumer technology partners, such as Stripe, Shopify, Google, and the broader connector ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, ecosystem thinking, and deal execution. You'll need to be a serious Replit power user. You'll speak credibly with engineers. You'll negotiate with senior partner stakeholders. And you'll be the person accountable for turning ambiguous ecosystem opportunities into shipped product and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Develop a clear point of view on Replit's partner landscape and build a prioritized pipeline of high-leverage opportunities across consumer tooling, AI tooling, cloud and infrastructure, and payments technology partners.

Lead partner conversations from early exploration through joint product thesis, business case, commercial terms, launch plan, and post-launch iteration.

Partner with Product, Engineering, Partner Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to turn agreements into shipped outcomes.

Work directly with Partner Engineers to scope integrations, demos, prototypes, reference apps, and partner enablement assets.

Define success metrics before every launch activation: retained usage, apps created, deployments, revenue, partner-sourced users, and use them to decide when to scale, iterate, or sunset a partnership.

Build lightweight operating systems: partner scorecards, launch checklists, partner roadmap tracking, and repeatable frameworks for evaluating new opportunities.

Represent the partner internally with strong product judgment; inform roadmap changes only when they create clear leverage for Replit users.

Who You Are

You're probably one of these:

A product partnerships or BD person from a developer platform, AI platform, API company, cloud platform, or builder tool.

A former PM or founder who can sell and negotiate externally while staying close to the product.

A technical ecosystem operator who has shipped integrations, partner programs, or AI-native workflows.

In all cases, you're a builder. You can open Replit and put together a credible demo. You're not expected to write production integration code but you need enough technical depth to scope the work, ask the right questions, and earn trust with engineers.

Director of Product Design

Compensation

The compensation for this role ranges from $275K to $350K per year, with equity offered.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

We're looking for a Director, Product Design to lead the day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, reporting to the Co-Founder & Head of Design.

This is a true player-coach role for someone who loves building products as much as leading people. You'll lead and develop a talented team of product designers while remaining deeply embedded in the work itself. You'll whiteboard with designers, navigate complex product decisions.

The Co-Founder & Head of Design remains closely involved in design critique and product quality. Your role is to lead the day-to-day design organization by creating the structure, alignment, and momentum that enable exceptional work. You'll stay two to three layers deeper than the Co-Founder & Head of Design on active initiatives, surfacing the context, tradeoffs, and insights needed to make thoughtful decisions without requiring constant immersion in every project.

Success in this role requires exceptional product judgment, strong design taste, technical fluency, and a collaborative approach. You're someone who naturally connects disciplines, elevates the people around you, and makes both the work and the team better every day.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, ensuring work is aligned, prioritized, and delivered to an exceptionally high standard.

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product designers, helping them grow their craft, confidence, and impact.

Shape and elevate the customer journey.

Work alongside designers every day by whiteboarding ideas, exploring alternatives, reviewing work in progress, and solving complex product and interaction challenges.

Stay deeply informed across active initiatives, surfacing the context and insights that enable the Co-Founder & Head of Design to engage quickly in meaningful design critique and high-impact product decisions.

Raise the quality of product design through thoughtful feedback, exceptional craft, and strong design taste.

Help evolve Replit's design practices, workflows, and team culture while preserving the speed and flexibility of a high-growth company.

Recruit, hire, and onboard exceptional product design talent as the organization grows.

Who You Are

You're a builder first and a manager second.

You enjoy being close to the work, helping designers think through difficult problems, and making good teams even better. You're equally comfortable sketching ideas on a whiteboard, giving thoughtful design feedback, coaching a designer through a difficult challenge, or partnering with engineering on implementation details.

You combine exceptional product judgment with strong design taste and technical fluency. You're collaborative, humble, curious, and energized by helping great work happen.

Experience & Qualifications

Significant experience leading product design teams within high-growth technology companies.

Proven ability to balance people leadership with meaningful hands-on product design contribution.

A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, interaction design, product thinking, and systems thinking.

Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to deliver technically sophisticated products.

Demonstrated success leading cross-functional product development in fast-moving environments.

Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong design taste, sound judgment, and a bias toward action.

Experience simplifying complex technical products into elegant, approachable user experiences.

Nice to Have

Experience designing developer tools, technical products, or software creation platforms.

Experience building AI-powered products or AI-native workflows.

Coding experience or strong technical curiosity.

Experience growing design teams in startup or scale-up environments.

Active use of AI throughout your design process.

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a traditional design leadership role.

We're looking for someone who thrives in the work, not above it. Someone who enjoys solving problems alongside designers, building strong partnerships across Product and Engineering, and bringing the depth of context that allows the Co-Founder & Head of Design to focus on the moments where their perspective has the greatest impact.

This is a role for someone who is excited by complex product challenges, passionate about developing exceptional designers, and motivated by building products that make powerful technology feel intuitive.

This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Full-Time Employee Benefits Include:

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match (US Only)

Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance

AEO/GEO/SEO Lead

Replit is hiring an AEO/GEO/SEO Lead to own how Replit gets discovered, across AI-generated answers and traditional search.

The successful candidate will define the strategy and execute it with AI-leveraged production, agency partners, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Own the AEO/GEO Strategy: Define where Replit must show up across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, for which prompts and buyer intents, and build the playbook to win those answers.

Win Citations Across the Open Web: Build durable programs on each surface, understand the half-life of an AI citation, and keep Replit ranked as models retrain and retrieval systems shift.

Run SEO End to End: Own keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and content-driven organic growth in partnership with the Head of Web.

Build the Content Engine: Produce and direct content designed for two readers at once: LLM crawlers and humans.

Stand Up Measurement: Build reporting for a channel that lacks perfect attribution: AI referral traffic, share of voice in AI answers, citation tracking, and downstream signups and revenue.

Direct Agencies and Tools: Own agency and vendor relationships across search and AI visibility, plus the tool stack that powers tracking and production.

Requirements:

5+ years in SEO, organic growth, or content-driven acquisition (ideally within SaaS, technology, or developer-focused businesses), including hands-on AEO/GEO work within the last year

Real results: AI referral traffic grown, citations won, rankings moved, and measurement of all of it

Technical fluency in SEO: keyword research, crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture, and log analysis

Understanding of how LLMs retrieve and cite sources, and how that differs across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity

Clear writing and direction of people, agencies, and AI tools to produce content that earns citations

Analytical ability to build credible measurement in a messy, fast-changing channel

Comfortable partnering with engineering, product, content, and analytics stakeholders

Founder mindset: identifying gaps and filling them, moving quickly, and not waiting for someone else to define the playbook

Benefits:

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match (US Only)

Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance

Short Term and Long Term Disability

Senior Compensation Strategy & Systems Manager

Compensation

Compensation is determined based on career level, with the base salary for this role ranging from $171K - $250K • Offers Equity

Role Summary

Replit is the world's most widely used AI coding platform, and as we scale, we're rebuilding how compensation works internally from the ground up. This role owns that. You'll go beyond traditional comp management to architect the systems, data infrastructure, and AI-enabled workflows that make fast, consistent, and high-quality compensation decisions possible at scale. It's a rare opportunity to bring a product and engineering mindset to a people function that most companies still run on spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy

Evolve our compensation philosophy across cash and equity; design and maintain salary bands, leveling frameworks, and equity structures

Ensure market competitiveness while partnering with Finance on cost and workforce planning

Systems & Data Architecture

Partner with Data Science to define compensation data schemas, pipeline requirements, and unified data models that allow AI agents and internal tools to query compensation data seamlessly

Own the compensation tech stack : build vs. buy decisions, HRIS/ATS/equity platform integrations, and security/permissioning standards

AI-Native Workflows

Design and implement AI-enabled workflows for offers, merit, promotions, and market adjustments

Build human-in-the-loop validation frameworks to audit AI-generated recommendations for bias, accuracy, and logic

Decision Support & Analytics

Operate compensation planning cycles and generate first-pass recommendations for comp decisions

Build dashboards and analytical frameworks covering market competitiveness, internal equity, retention risk, and workforce cost

What we're looking for

8+ years in compensation, total rewards, or related analytical roles , ideally at a high-growth tech company

Deep expertise in salary bands, equity design, and market benchmarking (broad-based, sales, and executive)

Strong systems thinker who can translate policy into scalable workflows and decision logic

Product mindset , you think in terms of users, workflows, and iteration

Comfortable partnering with Data/Engineering teams on data architecture and internal tooling

High ownership; willing to operate hands-on

Nice to have: Experience at an AI-native company · Prior internal tools or engineering-adjacent work

Tools: Pave, Radford, Rippling, Lattice, Ashby, Carta, Google Sheets, internal AI/automation tooling

This role may not be a fit if

You prefer operating within established compensation programs rather than building systems from scratch

You think of compensation primarily as a cyclical process rather than a continuous system

You rely heavily on manual analysis and spreadsheets without seeking automation

You are uncomfortable making high-stakes decisions in ambiguous situations

You prefer highly structured, process-heavy environments over speed and iteration

You are hesitant to adopt AI and new technologies to transform how work gets done

You prefer managing large teams rather than operating as a high-impact builder

Full-Time Employee Benefits Include:

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match ( _US Only_)

Senior Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help accelerate the growth of Replit Agent— a core part of our mission to allow anyone to build software, without any coding experience.

This role sits at the crossroads of product, engineering, and go-to-market, ensuring that every new feature we ship lands with clarity, excitement, and impact. You’ll work closely with our engineers, PMs and Partnership teams to understand the product roadmap, then translate those innovations into compelling narratives that resonate with builders of all kinds — from solo builders to enterprise teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Product Marketing for our Launches: Develop and operationalize Replit’s launch motion — from early roadmap planning through public release. Create repeatable frameworks that keep launches fast, clear, and coordinated.

Shape Messaging & Positioning: Craft technically fluent, developer-first narratives that highlight how Replit’s AI coding agent accelerates creativity and productivity. Tailor messaging to different developer segments and channels.

Create Sales & Growth Enablement: Build the first generation of enablement materials (decks, demos, battlecards, FAQs) that empower GTM teams and partners to tell Replit’s story confidently.

Lead Competitive and Market Insights: Stay ahead of the fast-moving landscape in AI coding assistants and app development platforms. Identify key trends, threats, and whitespace opportunities that shape how Replit stands out.

Co-market with our Partner ecosystem

You’ll also leverage your storytelling expertise to collaborate with our partner ecosystem, crafting compelling “Better Together” narratives that elevate our joint value and propel partner marketing initiatives

Analyze & Learn: Define metrics, gather insights, and feed back learnings from the field and community to inform product and marketing strategies.

Requirements

Have 8+ years of work experience, including 6+ years in product marketing (ideally within the app development space)

Love building from scratch — frameworks, processes, teams, and strategy

Excellent written communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity

Are equally comfortable writing a launch announcement, building a competitive teardown, or running a cross-functional sync

Have a founder mindset: you identify gaps and fill them, move quickly, and don’t wait for someone else to define the playbook

Proven ability to partner directly with engineers and product managers, turning technical concepts into simple, powerful stories

Strong project management skills — you can juggle multiple launches and keep teams aligned under pressure

Experience with sales enablement and competitive positioning for technical audiences

A collaborative, low-ego approach and willingness to dig into the details

Bonus Points

Experience in app development space or marketing to product managers, designers, sales, marketing or operations teams

Experience with Partner/Ecosystem Marketing — to start with, we are looking for a generalist who can also help out with Partner Marketing

Experience at a startup or high-growth environment where speed and adaptability matter

Understanding of AI and machine learning technologies

A track record of successful launches for developer-facing products

Example Projects

Establishing a repeatable launch rhythm for major features and smaller updates

Building a competitive intelligence framework for the AI coding assistant space

Developing persona-driven messaging for builders across different segments and company sizes

Launching and executing co-marketing initiatives with Replit’s partner ecosystem

Coordinating cross-functional launches with engineering, product and marketing

Defining metrics and feedback loops between product, marketing, and the our builder community

Benefits

Competitive Salary & Equity

401(k) Program with a 4% match
