Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing stock and deliveries
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the store
• Working flexibly across the store as needed
• Using digital tools to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently
• Being a team player and supporting colleagues across the store

You'll work the following shifts:

• Wednesday 04:00-08:00
• Friday 04:00-08:00
• Saturday 04:00-08:00

Please note that you may be asked to work up to full-time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December due to operational requirements.

As a Customer Assistant in Operations, you'll need to be physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.

You will be driving a modern, well-serviced vehicle and will be expected to handle products and deliveries with care, as well as interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers
• Handling and delivering products with care
• Communicating with customers about any changes to their order
• Familiarising yourself with your delivery route for the day
• Conducting safety checks on your vehicle
• Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on the road

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points
• Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service
• The ability to lift crates and move large cages, approximately no heavier than 18kg
• To be 18 or older

In addition to your contractual pay, you will be eligible for Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00.

The role is temporary, working 15 hours per week, with varied hours across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends.
