Job Details:

• £13.24 per hour
• Part-time, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11am - 5pm, with on-call rota covering evenings and weekends
• Location: West High Street, Forfar, DD8 1BA

Responsibilities:

• Collect the deceased from various locations and scenarios in a professional and empathetic manner
• Bear coffins on the day of the funeral and drive funeral vehicles
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles
• Prepare coffins and engrave name plates
• Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals
• Maintain client management applications daily, inputting detailed and timely information
• Safely lift, carry, and move coffins following safe techniques and health and safety guidance

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including manual lifting
• Good IT skills and confidence to use various technology devices
• Ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
